I have a question about that lower extension on the left side of the desk that holds your computer. Is that custom made or did it come with the desk? Can that thing accommodate a Corsair 800D?
My open-boxed P6X58D arrived yesterday and sadly it didn't come with any extras - no CD, no cables, no back plate, and no other peripherals. Initially I was a bit disappointed but ultimately it was no biggie as I had most of that stuff from previous ASUS motherboards except for the back plate...
How has this board been running for you so far? No hiccups or failures? I'm tempted to buy an open box of this motherboard but $300 is too steep for me.
Ok, so another quick question. The there are some DS monitors that have the polarizer but not all of them? Do all of the Planar PX2611W displays come with a polarizer?
Does this sound crazy? This Hannspree is my first LCD for home use and while I love the massive size, I can't help fighting back the urge to buy something more expensive like the Planar PX2611W that doesn't have TN issues and supposedly looks great and has low input lag. But it would mean...
I'm not an expert on all of this but with my Hannspree running through DVI - HDMI I can get 4:3 without any stretching by letting the Nvidia driver take over.
For my Xbox 360 running through the VGA cable, the monitor displays 1080p with no stretching. I tested this using the 1920x1080...
Hmmmm so would it be best to order straight from DS specifically requesting a unit with the polarizer? I notice DoubleSight's online store is currently down for maintenance.
FWIW, I have my 360 piped into my new Hannspree 28" (just got it yesterday) via the 360 VGA cable and by using that test image from tigerdave.com I see no overscanning at 1920x1080.
*sigh*
UPS dropped off my HF289H today and unfortunately it had a stuck pixel in the lower right hand side. I went over to BB and exchange it for another but I made sure to have the Geeksquad run a test for me. I was behind the counter watching and from what myself and tech could see there...
My Sapphire Radeon X1900XT that I've had for about 8 months now is starting to overheat on me in 3D games. The card has been running great up until a couple of months ago where I started noticing graphical corruption after extended periods of playing.
Here's the deal though, when I first...
Asus P5B Deluxe
2 x 1GB Cruicial Ballistix DDR2 RAM
E6600 Processor
ATI X1900XT
For the past few weeks my machine has been acting up (BSODs) and after swapping sticks around I think I narrowed it down to a bad stick of memory. However, I don't know what I did to cause this, but when I try...
Thanks for your reply.
Believe me, I tripple checked my OCZ manual and it never said anything about clipping the two together. It's one of those assumed things that people should know but I don't upgrade and swap out parts every six months like you guys do so this new 4+20 plug in was...
I got my Asus P5B Delux today to build my new Core2 system but I've been out of the upgrade loop for awhile and I need clarification on how to power it up.
My OCZ 700 GamerXStream power supply has a 20 pin connector along with a little 4 pin connector but the main EATXPWR plug on the...
You know it could've been from an upside down molex but the thing is with this new OCZ power supply it plugs in effortlessly no matter if it's upside up or upside down. With my older PS connectors you could feel right away if it was going in wrong but with the OCZ there's no indication at all...
Today I recieved my parts from Newegg for my new Conroe rig but before I attempted to put the new stuff together I wanted to test out my new OCZ 700W GameXStream PS on my old system.
So I disconnected the old PS (an Antec 550w) plugged in the new OCZ PS. I doubled checked everything to make...
Wow it's much easier on the wallet going with an Opteron and the X1900XT - about $876.
I'm not up to speed on my AMD chips but I take the Opteron 165 is the current overclocking champ? It's certainly much cheaper than the X2 4800+ Are Opteron's for the server market?
