I disagree with 7718. I owned a SDTV before a recent purchase of an HDTV, and I can say its still worth it without the HDTV. Yea, it does look a bit better, but not enough to make me not want a 360 if I had only a standard tv.

For anything that uses mostly text(internet browsing, etc.) your definitely going to want to stick with native, but I can say the games dont really look that much worse when scaled down. I always run at native when possible, but when I cant, I drop it down and it looks fine.

Well, I feel like a doof now. I did a google image search but only searched xp disc, xp disk, windows xp. It never even occured to me to use cd. :rolleyes:

Ive been using the 1000 for a long time now and have zero complaints, neither do my roomates. If I had the issues that some people seem to have, I probably would have switched by now, but mine has run flawless.

Im really looking to stay away from lcd's and projectors at this point in time. The 27inch and 32inch viewsonic...the only thing I seem to be able to come up with are LCD's...do they make any crt's?

Yea, check out pocketSnes. Very handy little program. Though I cant get sound to work on mine, some people have no problems wiht that though. You should have no problem running that, so I say go for it.

Have you ever tried one of the top mouse pads? I used to think the same thing as you until I tried a func, once I did I realized I was never going back.

Vote for the Func as well. Cheapest and an absolute killer mousepad.

Monkey ball, mario kart, donkey conga...all good recommendations. Can adults enjoy ddr? Well, Im 22 and I love that game, so you can take that into consideration. Makes for a good workout too if you really get into it.

I find another problem with me is that I dont use my bombs. Sometimes I will just get in a zone and not even notice Ive trapped myself in a corner and need to bomb out, sucks to die with 4 or 5 bombs still left.

Ive got my current sights on surviving 500k right now. Then on to a million, though I have no clue how I will do that. At 300k I simply could not tell what the hell was going on...at all. Still a lot of fun though.

Well, this company has some big shoes to live up to. RC2 was one of the best racing games Ive ever played, I cant think of another racing game that has provided me so much fun.

Thats because its a game not meant to feel like that. Just because you dont like the more arcadish racers doesnt mean its a bad game.

I dont imagine it would have the same charm for me these days, but I remember having an absolute blast playing Shivers back in the day. Me and a couple friends would get together, turn off the lights, crank the volume, and play that game all night long. Some very good times.
