I think vibecomputers.com is the "newegg" of Canada. Less selection, but the service is awesome. Also, you can post on the site's message boards and get a response really quickly. I had to call them about an order once, and they picked up on the 2nd ring. Just had to clear something up, whole...
Hi all
I have 2 old computers just lying around in my basement doing nothing, and I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions as to what I can do with them.
Computer 1
750mhz AMD T-bird
256mb sd133 ram (i think, but it might also be a slow flavour of DDR)
32mb TNT2 (i think)...
EXACT same experience as you. Vibe, when they have something in stock, is the best store by far. NCIX, on the other hand, says they have things in stock, when in reality they don't.
I have a 9600Pro AIW, and the quality is pretty darn good. The AIW's use the same hardware as the standalone cards, so I say go for it.
If you do decide to go the ATI route, get a little program (literally, it's 50k or so), called Shadowstream from this website http://www.phazonomicron.com/...
Only the XT's and some 3rd party cards (Tyan, Hercules) have temperature diodes on the PCB. Without a temperature diode the only way to measure the temperature is to do it manually.
There's probably something embedded in the colour ink cartridge to indicate to the printer that it is, a colour ink cartridge. The printer has to have some way of distinguishing between colour cartriges and B&W cartridges.
That being said, assuming that spare ink is cheap enough, it's worth a...
I don't have one, but from what I've heard, it doesn't. Like sigmend said, go to any store and pick up one of those massive "Supermats" (or whatever they're called) for $2 and you'll be happier (and richer) than if you had bought the Ratpad.
Umm, I actually have these headphones, and they don't block your vision whatsoever. Also, the sound quality is quite good, with no distortion whatsoever.
I also read a bunch of reviews before I bought these headphones, and since I got them, I have not been disappointed at all.
Most of the...
ncix.com - slow, say things are in stock when they aren't, customer support is weak sometimes
vibecomputers.com - amazing service, super fast, customer support answered on the second ring
Doesn't seem very genuine. I mean, look at the minimum specs they listed. Computers with those specs have problems playing normal DVD's. Factor in all the extrapolating to 3D that a 500mhz processor would have to do, and it just doesn't add up.
For God's sake, nobody cares what anybody thinks. If you don't like paying for games, then don't. I don't play any MMORPG's, and if you don't want to pay a monthly fee, then don't play them either.
