the entire thing... those old imacs.. (the blueberry.. orange ones) sell for around $250.. you should be able to get at least that from a quicksilver powermac..
I'm waiting for the intel ibooks.. I'm wondering if they are doing anything special to it.. seeing as the MBP is a basically a powerbook with intel chips.. give or take a few other upgrades..
aside from modding it.. you can also get a couple hundred bucks out of that thing.. apple hardware has good resale value.. even the old g4 towers (I'm typing on one right now :) post it up on craigslist or ebay..
plug in the ipod.. right click my computer and hit manage.. then go into the volume manager.. you should see the C: volume.. and possibly your ipod volume.. if you do assign it a drive letter within there.. if not then i would suspect your usb plug.. or cable.. or faulty ipod..
another thing...
do you have any mapped network drives?.. windows will try and take your ipod and make it the first available letter even tho you may have mapped it to a network share.. itunes doesn't like it very much either..
I have a 6800gt pci-e card that recently decided it doesn't want to work anymore.. I have to RMA it to BFG but i have replaced it's stock heatsink with a maze4 gpu waterblock. Does anyone know if BFG is going to give me crap about it? i can put the stock heatsink back on but i'm sure they will...
i understand that.. but i'm comparing my battery life to the others with the same battery that claim to get more then double the life from it.. i'm wondering what the diffrence is..
quite honestly i was wondering the same thing.. tho i have yet to watch a video from itunes/apple directly.. so maybe it has to do with the way the file is encoded.. bitrates and such
funny i posted on here a week ago asking if someone wanted to trade their ipod for my PSP.. i ended up selling the PSP and buying that exact ipod.. oh well bad timing i guess :) .. gl on the sale..
i haven't tested it or anything.. but i bet i couldn't watch more then 30min of video before i dies..the constant on backlight kills the battery as well..
i was hoping someone knew him in real life... he did post that thing about a "internet outage" which seemed a little strange to me.. and right after he was gone gone gone.. really odd.. he never struck me as the type of guy to run off with a few dollars of peoples money.. so one would have to...
wow i guess i should have read the forum before posting what i did just a minute ago..
i have no idea where bonz is.. he was a good online friend of mine and now he's just tottally MIA.. some pretty upset customers..
i'm trying to network to houses together using wifi, the approximate distant is about 400-450ft between the 2.. i recently bought the MIMO based linksys wifi router, along with the compatible notebook card in hopes it would work "off the shelf". It does make the distance but only at 25% signal...
you're right.. it's not that great of a deal.. so I'd take $320 for everything.. no less tho..
i was hoping to find someone that bought a new ipod but really wanted a PSP..
I have a PSP with 1.5 version firmware (able to play free homebrew games) for sale. there is nothing wrong with it at all, i just never seem to have the time to play it. I will also consider trading everything for a new Ipod video, or a ipod nano (in good shape) plus cash.
make me an offer...
you have to remember the jap ver 1.0 firmware would run homebrew without any hacks which include loaders.. it would be my guess they rushed to a japanese 2.0 release to get people to upgrade from their mistake
horrible.store... braindead customer service... you know it's bad when they have to bribe people to give positive feedback on their reseller ratings page... love their parts.. hate their store... last DD parts i bought was from newegg.. and i got it lickty split :)
careful that thing will eat your mouse feet up.. then your mouse won't work right on any mousepad...
i finally got wise and stopped buying the ratpadz.. let's hope the nextgen (if any) will be more like the func..
