The metal ones have also brought to my attention a few complaints as well from customers. With the plastic alternative, the tubing must be pushed past what is felt to be 1 point of resistance. The metal sleeve seems to have 2 points of this "resistance" and have caused setups to leak do to the...

The only issue that I have with the full metal plug&cool fittings is that the tubing doesnt always easily slide in and out of the socket. The plastic sleeves are much easier to work with. -Dan
