Hey guys, for sale here is my Asus 5970. I am selling it because I am having too many driver issues with the card (constant BSOD due to atikmpag.sys when entering 3d). I believe that there exists no hardware problem (no artifacting and no anomalies in afterbuner). I am the second owner, and to...
Halo 3 (1 and 2 were much much better)
Diablo 2 (I never played it during it's prime but when I did I didn't think it was that great)
Any COD (I don't get what's so great about COD)
Going to vote for the g700, I've had multiple razer mice and all seem to have a relatively short lifespan. I was between the g700 and the steelseries xai for my new mouse and I got the xai, although there is no doubt the g700 is very nice.
It's a really good choice, and if you look at the local 800D thread in the WC section you will see a lot of 800D's and many of the infinitely different options there are for configuration. You can definitely find something to suit you if you don't have any ideas!
Asus P6T Deluxe (v1 and v2) have power and reset switches, you can find them used for ~135.
Define "cheap", also what socket etc, and your purposes please - it would help a lot.
I said it looks super fragile, ie, being millimeters thin. Despite it being made of aluminum, it is still absurdly thin, can anyone with actual experience with the machine comment?
Stock cooler is really poor. I would do a reseat and a re-application of TIM and after the curing period for AS5 see if it's any better. If not and if it bothers you, you might want to look into aftermarket cooling solutions.
Lol.
I had to vote for nvidia since I've had zero driver issues until I bought my 5970. Had a 7800gt and a 260 after that but the 5970 is causing quite a lot of grief.
Can't say I liked the original crysis' actual gameplay and storyline too much, mainly got it to see if my PC could do it with full everything.
I'll buy this one as well and hope it's an improvement as it looks good.
You'll be fine. If you want to add another video card however, it will be very risky and you will want to look into what the amperage of the psu is on the 12v rail.
800D is pretty cool, lots and lots of room and it's very clean. You can get a 360 up top and I've seen someone manage a 360 on the bottom by taking out the HDD cage (idk how, I know you can definitely get a 240 down there though). If you wanted, you could mount a single rad on the back, and one...
Dude, my ASUS 5970 is a nightmare. Constant blue screens due to atikmdag.sys or whatever the bastard is.
I'm going to try to get my hands on a 580 whenever I can, and hopefully sell the 5970 and waterblock because there is definitely no hardware issue, just horrid drivers. Did a few fresh...
