Does the Dell Precision M4500 have a cap on the highest bandwidth for memory? I have 1333MHz memory in it, but only 4GB, and I want to upgrade to 16GB, but if I can use PC12800, that'd be so much better and not much more expensive than the PC10600.
Soo... On Corsair site it says it'll fit on any motherboard that supports AM3, but to my surprise, after I bought the H80 it doesn't come with any backplate or something that will fit on my motherboard. The holes for the backplate on the motherboard is in a rectangle shape, but the backplate...
Anyone know if there's a fix to prevent Skype from minimizing your game when you answer a call with hotkeys? Its starting to get annoying when I'm trying to play BF3 and it minimizes when people call me.
So, I'm getting this issue where I'm getting sound, but its reversed. Like if stuff happen on the left side, sound comes out my right side and vice versa. Did I miss something in the settings or something?
What's the difference between 910-001436 and 910-001757?
Newegg says they are both G700 mice, but they have different part numbers, and on the Logitech site, it lists 910-001757.
Is Logitech making anymore of these? I have the Performance MX and I'm loving it, but I don't see any new mice with Darkfield since Performance and Anywhere came out. Or should I just grab a G700?
Hi peeps!
I have a problem with my graphics card, I've had it for about two years, Its a Zotac GeForce 9600 GT, but over time, its starting to bend (read: gravity) and I'm looking for a card that is stiff enough that it won't bend. Money is not an issue. Oh, and right under the graphics card...

Dual Fan Design- HardOCP Enthusiast Gold Award
It seems Newegg is using [H] awards for graphic cards. I don't know if that's good or not.
How do I know if I have proper airflow?
I have:
2x Scythe GT AP-15s at the front pushing into the case (one connected to PSU, one connected to mobo fan plug)
1x 240mm pushing out top of my Thermaltake Element S (stock fan), I'm thinking of replacing this with a Xigmatek one since its quieter...
For some reason when I do "aspnet_regiis -ga user" after a day or so, it will unstick itself and I have to type that command in again to be able to view my site.
I'm running
Win2003 Server machine
SQL2005 on different machine
with .NET 4.0.30319
Hmm... might be a GPO issue. >_<
I'm looking to replace my HIS 4870 with something more current, but I can't decide what to get. I want something that can play games decently, but has to not blare at me when I'm playing.
I know that there are more features in Win7 than XP, but what about in terms of information gathering? In XP there's the Win32_Processor and regular registry stuff, which carries over into Win7, but what's new in Win7 that you could use for information gathering that wasn't in XP? i.e. New...
Okay, I'm looking at the specs for these two and they don't seem all that different. Apple most likely will lock their A5 at a higher clock, but how much difference is a couple MHz?
Asus Transformer
CPU: NVidia Tegra 2 1GHz (dual-core ARM Cortex A9)
GPU: ULP Geforce 300MHz (OpenGL 2)
Memory...

So, I'm thinking of getting an SSD for my laptop, but I'm not entirely sure what I should look for. My laptop is only SATA2, so I don't think I'll need a SATA3 drive. I thought OCZ was good with SSDs, but lately they don't seem to be doing well so I'm not sure what company to go with. Price is...
Hi!
I'm trying to get Win32_Processor to give me information on the new Intel Core i3, i5, i7 processors, but it keeps telling me they're P2 or P3 machines. Anyone know if this is a bug like KB953955?
Thanks!

I currently have an HTC Touch Pro2, but it looks like they're bringing back the QWERTY keyboard on the Desire Z but on an Android instead of WinMo (which is awesome), but its running 2.2. Not sure how I feel about this. I love my Touch...
I'm looking for something like the Logitech DiNovo Mini so I can use some sort of controller for my desktop so I can sit on my couch instead of having to use my keyboard/mouse when I'm watching movies and stuff.
So, I have a Thermaltake Element S case, but I'm looking at all the CPU coolers like the Antec 620 and the Corsair H60 and they're all 120mm, but my rear fan slot is a 140mm. Is there some sort of adapter plate that will let me put a 120mm fan on the 140mm slot?
Does a UPS cause Hyper Transport Sync Flood Errors? I've had two of these errors since I started plugging my desktop into my UPS. The desktop is the one in my sig.
I read in this topic that it was because of mixing of RAM, but all my RAM is the same.
Edit: I've set my RAM to 1.9v, since that's...
I'm taking a liking to HDStarcraft right now. When he talks its clear and not rushed. And I like how he explains things, without rushing, while keeping up with the gameplay.

So, I have Win Server 2003R2 running on one of my machines, and it has its own external IP. Also has MS Exchange and all that good stuff running. What I want to know is what else I need before I can use it as a mail server.
So, my WoW account is expiring and to be honest I'm getting sick of having to do 5-6 hours of prep just for 3 hours of raiding and pretty much spending my entire time of WoW prepping. I'm thinking of switching back over to FPS and was wondering if BFBC2 worth getting? Or are there others I...
Question: Is the iPhone4 glass Corning Gorilla Glass?
Can someone clarify this for me? Its really giving me the twitch every time I see someone say the iPhone4 is using Corning's Gorilla Glass.
From here they talk about the stopping of cases for the iPhone4 and they say that its Corning...
Hi,
I have an old Toshiba A100, and I was wondering if it mattered which PC2 4200 DDR2 SODIMM I used for it? It can only hold max of 2GB though, and I only have 1GB, I was thinking of getting a set of Kingston 2GB (1GB x2) to replace the current 1GB.
Is there a way to allow only specific sites to be accessed via Internet in Ubuntu? I know that you can use IPTABLES to block specific sites, but is there one to only allow specific sites?
i.e. I only want users to access anything in the ZD Net domain.
