Those are the mechies...
Hey, my summer job as chemical engineering student is to play with dirt....
okayadvanced ceramics, but its still dirt.
I wonder if you can build a cool enclosure with this stuff...
If you are so concerned about good quality, then bring the musicians with you...
AFAIK SilenX aren't rebranded...
Also, the 14 dBa SilenX fan moves only 4 less cfm than Coolermaster rifle bearing fans (according to the specs). I own a non-led version of the fan and a Coolermaster rifle bearing fan, and I can honestly say that although not necessarily 14 dBa, the SilenX...
I wonder, what causes the decomposition, oxidation or light/temperature sensitivity?
If kept under nitrogen atmosphere will a CD-R/RW stay useable longer? What if it were stored in the dark? Anyone have so much time that they equated the lifespan of the CD in relation to light intensity...
I'm glad that up here in Canada, our taxes (so many of them :'( ) go toward something... it let's us download music without having to worry about legal ramifications.
I dled ASIO4all but I can't for the life of me figure out how to configure it properly for soundstorm.
I have the dll installed properly and everything (works with Nvidia ASIO) in foobar.
You've got soundstorm on there, find somewhere that'll get you some z-680's cheap... you'll save money from not buying a soundcard and get some half-decent speakers...
pssst.... he's from Canada... that's probably why the futureshop links... and newegg doesn't ship to Canada
Get Z680's or Z5500's from Canada Computers or NCIX for between 300-400...
I just installed a new DVD burner in my rig, Lite-On SOHW-1633S. The speeds have just slowed down to a crawl even on good CD's.
I reformatted my computer and re-setup my EAC and for some reason it's going at around 2X. Whereas I used to be able to get around 20X using secure mode using a...
When I got my z680's to test them out after burning in for like 3 days, I decided to blast them... my friend from two floors up ran downstairs and was amazed exclaiming "What the f*** was that? Was that you?! Holy crap!"
Good thing my don that term was really lax...
Klipsch are horrifically expensive here... they'll cost around $300 more for the promedia ultra 5.1's than the logitech z-5500's... that's really hard to justify (~$370 as compared to ~$650) for the sound improvement you get. At that kind of jump, you might as well invest in a cheap home theatre...
Then I must've gotten shafted with the battery...
I believe that encoding also makes a difference in battery life. I use variable bit rate stuff from lame + eac at alt preset standard/extreme (depends on the album). Variable bit rate tends to drain power more from what I understand, since...
Sarnia was BORING!
Never do a coop workterm there if you are from a big city
For some reason, doesn't wanna do FSB higher than 200 on 2.7 volts... or maybe its just that the shuttle doesn't like it too much. Haven't had too much time to tweak around with it.
Looks like you've discovered...
Vga silencers or any 2 slot solutions for that matter, will not fit into a shuttle unless you leave the cover off and do some modding at the back of the case.
My OCZ EL Plat Rev 2 can do 2-2-2-11 on 2.7V... Just got it yesterday as an early birthday present for myself, lol. Legal drinking age in Canada on Wednesday, yay!
Amazon.ca probably won't have it... it only has music and books.
If you are in Toronto, you can go to Bay-Bloor Radio or Great Met Sound (or something of the like). They'll probably have greater selection than most brick and mortar stores.
