Whats the order here, from fastest to slowest?
Primary application will be in a single user environment. Photoshop, Premiere, and Gaming being the primary uses.
Looks like things are off to a rocky start. I am met with "the requested media network application does not exist" error.
Then after a few refreshes it might work...
then it will fail again.
I'm upgrading one of my boxes. :) I'll be watercooling and shooting for max OC. Just like to list my equipment here. Tell me what you guys think. Right stuff? Wrong stuff? Don't care?

I recently upgraded to a x1900xt from an x850xt. My powerstream 520 couldnt handle the load jump... considering I have a ton of other stuff on it as well. Watercooling and overclocking can help tax a psu pretty good!
So after a week or so of having the new card... the 520 gave up the ghost...

My card is a saphire x1900xt. AtiTool .25 beta 14 is resetting its clocks when I launch certain applications.
So I've disabled the ati hotkey poller, and the "ati smart" service...
I've re-installed drivers twice...
Here's what happens:
I can launch Half Life 2, my clocks stay to...
I just ordered a 1900xt to replace my x850xt. Wondering if there are any good guides to vmod it like I did my x850xt. Is there a need for it?
Can you adjust the voltages with software yet? What do some of you use?
I ordered two of these for testing purposes only. One block is new in box with all hardware.
The other block was used for approx. 7 days in a testing loop. Both have been "de-burred" to remove swiftech's nasty machining particles.
Will sell both together for $50+shipping or Individually...
Considering that many big name developers (EA) can't release a game that isnt full of bugs to begin with... It should be interesting to see the NIGHTMARE of crashing systems and memory hog applications to ensue when they have yet another add-in card to try to code for.
Anyone else besides me...
What happened to the official driver discussion threads?
I am looking for info on the cat 6.1's. Back in the day, there was always a sticky here with the latest driver?
I miss that.
Anyways... anyone have anything to say about the 6.1's? Will they work with older control panels as...
Hardware components in sig, so I'll just elaborate on the new cooling. :)

Amazing what you can do with a $500,000 laser. :) I didn't like all the extra holes or the big ugly wings hanging off my block. So I set out to make a new one.
I can burn any style or design bracket you want. Just send me a sketch or describe...
Finished the first run of my custom Swiftech Storm mounting plates. Painted the first one blue to match my new custom PA120.3 rad. :)

I finally got up the nerve to strip my X2 4400 today. About 5 minutes of calming myself down... and about 10minutes to actually do it. Hacking away on a $500 processor with a razor blade... talk about making a dude sweat!
Idle temps only dropped 2c. Load temps dropped 6c!!! Amazing...
No pro that I know of lets their domain expire...
Maybe you should have been keeping track of this instead of badmouthing your users Joe. :o

Before I bought this block... the last time I heard or read the country name Slovenia, was in history class in high school! Edvard Konig (EK WaterBlocks) designed this block which can be found here: http://www.cerkovnik.si/indexh2o_e.htm

First blizzard of the year has arrived. Knocking out power and utilities around the state. Here is the view from my shop window:
Should duct my water loop to a radiator outside for the winter. :)
FYI - this is not a photo-chop... it really is that bad! hehe Not sure what the idiot in...
Got my apogee from sidewinder... and decided to strip it down this turkey day to see what it's all about.
This pic shows how they intend the water flow to head across the pins. Wonder how it would perform if you flipped it the other way... top->bottom instead of side->side as you see it now...
What memory in your opinion, has the highest probability to clock highest with the setup in my sig. Please spare me the "every peice of hardware is different" line. I know, and am just looking for some opinions based on your experience, or read reviews.

So they will release new processors in a completely different socket. They started out with 940 pin... then told everyone they sucked... and 939pin was the future.
Now they are back to 940pin with "m2" ... ...

Used to be... you could check a few reviews and have a good idea who has the "best" gaming GFX card out there for your particular game you like to play.
Now, every site has their own "BEST" method of testing cards. The "gaming experience" versus the canned benchmarks versus the demo...
What gives?
Am I reading something wrong here? [H]'s review of crossfire seemed to have it labeled as weak sauce, while Anandtech's review showed it to be a contender.
Normally the reviews of both sites come out about the same with minor differences. Something I missed?
Got a new "cold heat" solder wand, so I figured I better test drive it. :)
Thats my shiny new X850XT. You'd swear they made the board to be volt modded. ;)

Ok, First off let me state that I love ATiTool and have been using it for a long time. Great program. I hope this thread will help the creator(s) narrow down a problem that many PCIe card users have been having. I am just going to run through the steps I took to narrow this problem down.

I didnt design this site, but I would like to get you guys' honest opinion on what you think of it. I know what I think, but I'll leave that out for now.
Post what you think someone should charge for designing a site like this.
Thanks.
I have been working on overclocking my new system. DFI SLI-DR w/ winnie 3200.
I noticed something that may help you other SLI-DR owners. The CPU VID Control and CPU VID Special do not always work correctly. If I set my VID control over 1.425v, the VID Special will not function at any...
Stay away from Ultra's. I can't believe I havn't heard more nasty things about them than I have.

Mine just blew up, taking my new DFI SLI-DR board along with it. Now I get to enjoy the waiting game until my RMA's...
I am running an X850XT, watercooled, and I know I can get more overclock out of the core if I feed it some more voltage.
What is the best way to get some more power to the core? Volt mod? Soft mod? Links please if you have them.
Running an SLI-DR with 2 74gb raptors in RAID-0... What would be the best cluster size to use for a WinXP installation that will be overclocked and used for gaming/photoshop?
