I'm waiting for either the PG27UQ or the PG35VQ/X35. I've gotten into FPS games and my LG34UC97S isn't cutting it anymore. I'll need to upgrade my 980 to a 1080Ti so it's going to be an extremely expensive upgrade :/

Thanks for the link. He mentions he doesn't use it at home b/c it doesn't have G-sync. I've never tried the G-sync, so maybe ignorance is bliss ;)

I just pre-ordered the uc97...BHphoto said they expect it in on Oct 6th. Hopefully the curve fixes the bleed...Should go nicely with the 980 that's coming in this week :)

Nothing beats swype...I wouldn't have even tried it if it didn't come as default on the Vibrant...seemed stupid to me, but I tried it and I'm now hooked.

Im using a Vibrant, but I agree with all the pro-android comments...LOVE swype too. I'm really glad the Vibrant came with it as default or I would have never tried it. The Droid X looks like an amazing phone and I almost got it instead of the Vibrant. I will be looking at HTC's next offering...

What ended up happening, is I went to a T-mo store near the BB first and I learned of the 0 interest payment thing they do. I paid $25 and the $35 tax on the whole thing to take the phone. I can pay $25 a month for 19 more months or more to pay it off quicker. This actually works best for me...

You're right, I didn't specify. My bad. Well without the HSPA+, how will the Vibrant specifically do on T-mo compared to the rest? Should it be on par then or does it still have a speed advantage over Verizon and ATT within the US?

I might buy the Vibrant off contract and resell it when that comes out and buy the new one on contract.

I think ATT is going downhill as it rests on its laurels with the iPhone...I actually like their version of the Samsung Galaxy S the best b/c of it's looks but since they have the iPhone they exert their power with limited internet data and I'm going to go with the T-mobile version.

It's not an HSPA+ phone tho: According to T-mo, it "benefits from enhanced speeds with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, but it’s not an HSPA+ device."

The verizon version appears to have a flash in the back...wish the T-mo one did since that's the version I'll probably end up with. How are T-Mo 3G speeds compared to Verizon?

I have a 3G on T-Mobile in FL and the speeds are fine to me...almost the same as ATT...altho slower than the Evo was when I had it.

Due to the bezel size and mirror tackyness of the Droid X, I'm leaning towards the ATT version of samsung's galaxy (Captivate). 4" seems to be ideal for my usage. Absolute limit I think would be my current Evo (which is about to go back)
