Project Offset and the Xbox 360

More then likely it is Microsoft. They have not announced the 'Big Publisher' yet, will probably be done at X06. The game will be a big boon to both the 360 and Window's. I was always amazed they were not picked up ealrier.

Why not use that dremel to remove the center of the front facia and replace it with white mesh.

Interior Renders of QMicra SFF Case!

While I didn't agree with the initial interior render tactics(registering), quite simply put. This case from a design aspect should kick the Qpack's ass at cooling. I dont mind the physical design, it's just the front facia of it bothers me...perhaps its the little white button and led sitting...

    LIAN-LI Cube Case on web-site

I really dislike the whole side mounted optical drive. For some reason the thing looks rather large, yet probably isn't any larger then a Qpack or SG01. Guess we will have to wait to see, when Lian Li send's out a few review models.

    sff case on newegg

Just get some Lan straps for what ever case you buy(SG01,Qpack,ect..). Problem solved...Although the toolbox idea could make for an interesting mod......oh the wheels are turning.

Interior Renders of QMicra SFF Case!

Okey, maybe not a scam, more of a sham or flim flam, possibley the Stranger and a freind..... Seriousley, why would they think the interior renders could not be duplicated by some unscroupulous, foreign, devil OEM's with something so devious as registering. Could this new mATX case be that...

Interior Renders of QMicra SFF Case!

This is honestly feeling just like Kyle eluded too, a scam. Hell every case OEM out there releases early development shots of hardware, why the "Only for people who sign up on OUR boards" tactic.

    rs482 won't post...who wants to help?

Try taking it out of the case, then powering it up with it laying on top of the static bag. I saw something similar when my son built his PC. Turned out to be the Lian Li was touching a portion of his MB and cuasing it to ground out.

    SFF Club website

Not really. They are all about the Shuttle/AOpen/etc SFF. I hardly see them busting a reveiw on the SLI mATX board, or the possability of running Xfire on that one 945 MSI board with the open ended PCI-e 4x slot. I personally thin the SFF has alot of room to grow for the enthusiast, yet no...

    SFF Club website

I would only have 1 reason, which is why I voted yes. I need a [H]ard Enthusiast version for SFF. I really dont care about anything else other then trying to shove the proverbial 426 Hemi into a Chevette mentality.

    Check out this SFF PSU!

This would appear to be decent http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104124, except I dont trust the Athena brand and the weak +12v. I really wish someone would come out with a decent mATX PSU that could handle the power requirements of a beefy system.

That kind of flex is not uncommon, my guess is something is loose and not the LCD.

    Laptop LCD Armour

Honestly, I think someone tried to pick-up or move said laptop by applying a small bit of pressure to the back of the lid....and by small bit, I mean a tad too much...and by a tad to much, I mean a whole hell of a lot.

    Laptop LCD Armour

QFT I have seen my wife get so frustrated that she literally threw her laptop across the living room, and all that happened was the screen bezel needed to be snapped back together. Honestly it looks like your applying pressure to the back of the screen lid, my suggestion to stop this...

Looking to buy an acrylic PC

While being somewhat cool to look at and show off. I cant stress if you are someone who gets inside and fiddles with hardware DO NOT get one as the screws tend to strip the plexi/lexan after numerous opening and closing of them. Not to mention the fact to get a side panel off is usually 6 screws.

    Crossfire mATX board @ newegg?

Excuse me if I am wrong, but the 4x PCI-E slot would appear way to short to accomodate a full size card. Not only that, with Crossfire enabled would that not only cuase extreme latency as one slot would be running at twice the speed, since Crossfire effectivley throttles the PCI-E 16x's down to 8x?

    x1900xtx in QPack?

I would think so, since the x1800 appears to be the same dimensions and those will fit, tightly.

Anyone tried the DFI RS482 yet?

I beleive they might...according to some sources. The article reads almost like DFI is about to do the LanParty mATX style, which would be nice.

Anyone tried the DFI RS482 yet?

But they weren't always Shuttle, they once were a motherboard manufacturer"Spacewalker", anyone? All it would take is one company to say hey, we will blaze this trail and make the enthusiast mATX board a reality and viola' you have a product that is unique and wanted. Much the same way DFI took...

Anyone tried the DFI RS482 yet?

I'm sure someone at Shuttle had the same thoughts when they said "Hey, lets make a SLi SFF". Thankfully they fired that someone and made it anyway's. Becuase ther is a market there, no matter how small the market does exist, therefore there is money to be made in it.

Are all Dell's laptops are loud as hell?

Really depends on the CPU/GPU option and if the user has it configured to use Speedstep or Powersaving. I know quite a few people who OC the GPU's in Dells which cuases the fan to never really stop spinning.
