2015 Samsung 4k TV as a Monitor Set Up Guide

Picked up a 48JS9000 and am having issues with 4:4:4 at 4k 60hz. It looks to be a driver issue, as I've got 3 GTX780's and I'm not able to get 4:4:4 displaying through HDMI (which reportedly may only be 1.4, which makes sense), DP1.2 -> HDMI (passive adapter so in theory it should easily push...

Evga 670 SC 4GB tim or heatsink replacement!?

I did it on my classy's. A new tim should give you a 3-5*C drop, at the very least. More if the card has a poor application of it. Just remove a few screws and you should be good to go. Also, EVGA allows you to use a third party heatsink and doesn't void your warranty. A nice plus!

ASUS GTX680 DirectCU II TOP or EVGA GTX680 Classified

If you're struggling between these cards, I'd honestly recommend a Classified. $50 more for 4gb (good for large resolutions if you decide in the future, games down the road, etc.) and a better stock cooler that vents out of your case. Plus, how can you deny this PCB?

    4-way SLI 680 and BF3 MP = ~70% GPU Usage

You evidently play without bezel correction? Man that would drive me nuts. And yes, pissing on the cards, or maybe even some lighter fluid and a match might help. When we're talking about support for quad sli, who knows?!

    Best 680 4GB Card

If you're going to run more than one of those monitors, you're going to need more than 1 680. Unless you like sub 20 fps. With resolutions like that and the desire to futureproof, I'd say get atleast 1 classified right now, and another down the road, or multiple right now. You won't find a...

    4-way SLI 680 and BF3 MP = ~70% GPU Usage

Clearly the problem is that you aren't running your cpu at 6ghz. That should fix your gpu usage. You want 30% more gfx usage... Put 30% more into cpu clock. amirite? I've also read about people baking their graphics cards in the oven when they didn't work right. You could try that too. ;)

If you're running resolutions higher than 1920x1080, 4gb is generally a good idea to be safe.

    4-way SLI 680 and BF3 MP = ~70% GPU Usage

I had issues with .79 and quad sli 690's, so I just started with .48 on my classys to save myself driver headaches. Just curious to see though, because I know they've fixed some BF3 performance issues in more recent drivers.

Nvidia says No to 680 voltage tweaks.

Already posted. And unless someone breaks into my house while I'm not home, boots up my pc, and flashes my classy's with an un-removable locked bios, I'll still be voltin ;)

Nvidia Will not allow Voltage Tweaking Period on 680 series :/

I flashed a classy with a lightning bios last night (not sure if it was a locked version or not), but the card didn't like it (crazy artifacting and such). Once the unlocked version is up for sure I'll try again tonight. I'm curious as to whether or not it uncaps the current sense resistors...

MSI GeForce GTX 680 Lightning Video Card Review @ [H]

Is it confirmed that the lightning LN2 bios disables overcurrent protection in addition to thermal throttling? Also, can anyone that has a lightning check to see if it has the same current sense resistors as other 680s? Thanks

    nVidia GTX 480 upgrade dilemma.

If you can step up, do it. You won't be eligible to step up any more when the "700" series finally drops (late this year maybe, more likely next year).

How do YOU test/find your stable 680 OC?

    1. I'd recommend raising your power target to max. That will help eliminate any possible instabilities overclocking (at least what you can get out of 1.175v). 2. Heaven benchmarking is a pretty good start. Use max settings at the highest possible resolution (if you can do 5760x1080 or something...

The classy is a binned 680 (while FTW is not) with more power phases, a larger fan, and the ability to pump up to 1.8v into it (compared to standard 1.175v lock).

EVGA GTX 680 Classified in stock at EVGA.com

I'm guessing your 670's are overclocked? The x9800 score is with stock 680's. Additionally, I hesitate slightly on justifying another $650 to go quad simply because most real world applications (ie not synthetic benchmarks, but games) haven't shown to utilize a 4th gpu substantially... this was...

My best classy will do 1333mhz stable for hours in heaven @ 1.175v. I can imagine hitting 1400 easily on stock air when my EVBot comes in and I have more voltage to work with. Water will be even sweeter.

So much frustration with quad sli driver support junk. I may pick up another if I really need to... running 6000x1080 surround in 3d, fps gets as low as 30 at some points, so it may be useful to get another. In any other circumstances I haven't found a need though.

    MSI lightning GTX 680 testing

Correct. Depending on what happens I may go with a 4th, but I had such a lousy experience with quad sli drivers that I figured I'd see what I could get out of 3. They run nicely in SLI with the exhausting cooler design.

    4GB on GK104 (GTX 670/GTX 680) Is Useless

It was as proper as I could get. Quad SLI drivers are really lacking. 304.79 crapped my cards out just like yours are doing (low gpu usage, low voltage, etc.) Do a full clean install of 304.48 and see what happens. And yes, 6000x1080 surround.

It's bigger and heavier than the 690's. [See my shot below] The cards cap at typical 1.175v via software, but will go up to 1.8v with an EVBot (which I have not received yet, but is on the way). I'm thoroughly testing each card individually, and the first card I have will do 1305/7114 @ 1.175v...

I run 6000x1080 (bezel corrected) with Tri Sli 680 classified's, and I can say for a fact that you do want 4gb of vram for running a large res in surround.
