Anyone know of a place that sells Noctua fans by the case or in bulk? I need about 16 and it would be nice if I could find somewhere that did a bulk discount.
I bought a ton of it along with a bunsen burner to experiment with. I also bought a setup to apply pressure while bending so that my tubes don't kink. I haven't actually gotten around to trying to bend it yet though as I've been too busy. If you do go with glass, buy it from a glass supplier not...
Well reference cards do tend to be better if your watercooling since that is what most of the waterblocks are designed for. Doesn't stop the cards from being crazy overpriced though.
I voted 4k since that is what I would like to be gaming at and I have a 4k monitor, just I'm also running a 970. My plan was to update to a new card to get 60fps at 4k with the new generation of cards but I'm still waiting on benchmarks.
There are two ways to cut it. The first is to use a glass tube cutter. This scores the glass and then you break it at the scoring point. The second way is is to use a diamond cutting disk on a dremel, when doing this also want to use a respirator as glass dust is exceptionally bad for you...
Here you go and here is a second source for 14mm. It's like $4 for 60 inches and you get to choose your ID
It's interesting to me that when switching from a PC specific vendor to a general glass vendor, glass tubing goes from being one of the more expensive forms of tubing to one of the...
When doing borosilicate glass tubing for a hard line system, is there any particular reason to buy it from PC specific water cooling manufacturers like alphacool or mayhem? It seems like all the tubing offered by the standard water cooling manufacturers is about 3x as expensive or more as buying...
I have this case. I really like it and would be glad to answer any questions on it. I can say though that it's very similar to the View 71 just with a few extras and a slightly different aesthetic.
This is how both a GTX360 and GTX 420 fit into the case. I'm waiting for my fittings to come in...
I want to vote for both. I think the RTXs implementation of ray tracing is over hyped and doesn't add that much but if we ever get full real time ray tracing it will be freaking amazing. It's possible the the RTXs raytracing has possibilities but I think we need to wait for a generation or two...
In that case I would go for the Lian Li. I had the V3000's predecessor the V2000 and it was very nice. The aluminum construction on the Lian lis is always top notch.

It confuses me that you have both the Evolv X and the View 91 in your list. The Evolv X doesn't look to offer any additional room over your current View 71 and while the view 91 has a very similar look to the View 71, it's just bigger. I guess my thought would be if you are okay with the look...
So I have an Areca 1880-ix-12 raid card with a RAID 6 setup. I was using Hitachi 7k3000 7200 RPM 2TB drives however it seems recently with the Western Digital Acquisition of Hitatchi availability has decreased and price has increased, it appears they they are now marketed as Enterprise level...
Its a good idea but I already investigated that. the 5.25 bays are actually 1 piece of metal. that is folded up in the front with the screws just adding rigidity. Unfortunately undoing the screws doesn't give you anything.
I put together a new build and all the parts came (except for the cpu, which ups lists as coming tomorrow) and it dawned on that my chosen heatsink will not fit inside my chosen case. Hence I need help picking out a new heatsink.
Build is an intel i7-3930k, Asus Rampage 4, with 16 gigs of...
I don't really need more Hard drive bays, I am not using all of the 16 that come with the case, I'm not sure why I would need another 4 bays. Also I don't see anything on there about compatibility with the Norco 4216, so I am left with the same issue I had originally of not being able to mount...
I just got my 4216 today and it is awesome. What would make it significantly more awesome is if there were general mounting brackets for the 5.25 bays. It seems as they come by default you can only place CD/DVD drives in them. I would like a general bracket that just has a 5.25 size hole so I...
Looks like seaboom will dropship them to you with an estimated lead time of 1-2 weeks which isn't too bad. Although they are also more then neweggs price at $637.55
lol yeah, i"m pretty sure they went int tock within 10 minutes of my post as they were out of stock when I checked earlier (all of like 15 minutes earlier)
I don't think used games would work on the PC because of the price point steam sales have. I find that if I wait for a sale (which I generally don't have to wait long for) I will usually pay the cost of a used copy of the game or less. And with how quickly games on steam drop to the $5-10 point...
I completely agree. I love playing RTSs and FPSs with friends at a lan party when they are in the same room but I don't play all that much when it is online, even if I have voice chat and am playing with the same people.
So I just ordered a new Silverstone LC13B-E for a media box and saw that silverstone offers Rackmount tabs for most of their htpc cases which would be awesome as I have a rack under my TV. It appears that the cases have the holes for the tabs drilled, but when I was looking at the pictures I...
I have seen a fair amount of speculation that bioware has artificially lowered the servercaps for release to encourage people to roll on lower population servers. Seemed reasonable to me no idea if it is true or not. I'm still at work at 8pm and have just resolved that I won't get to play today...
Been playing it since it's first day and I really like it. The quests, visuals and gameplay are all fantastic, my only real complaint is some very minor UI tweaks which they will probably fix eventually.
I think it is rather unintuitive that you have to get your advanced class abilities from a...
Mechwarrior. I know there was a video out for a reboot like 3 or for years ago but nothing has come of it. I know Living legends is out for crysis that does not change the fact that I want a new mechwarrior 2 or mechwarrior 3.
One of my concerns is that it looked like Metro is focusing more on full screen applications. Aside from games I generally don't full screen applications. Imo they should have a default interface option on installation. PCs would select the windows 7ish interface (or have it defaulted to on...
