As someone who's work center's a lot around the latest gaming GPU's, I'd tell everyone that it's good to have patience. The manufacturing pressure and strain producers are under has resulted in lots of failing cards. Things are starting to improve, but the initial manufacturing runs were highly...
Check out this video my brother made. I wonder if anyone else feels this sentimental about Mario 2.
It was my favourite Mario game back in the day.

I've never seen that area for profile editing before.
It's not bringing up both of the 'Robert' profiles. Hmm. Nobody seems to know. The folders shown under the one I want to delete are rubbish like "download manager" and "gay toolbar".
It's just letting me delete the administrator...
This has been driving me nuts forever. Every time I visit my parents house, I have to do a major cleanup of my dad's pc. I can't ever figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.
Notice the two 'Robert' profiles? The one that is actually used is the Robert.PC986... one. There is...
Pretty simple. Looking for an Athlon XP - slocket A cpu. One that works would be good. I'm also not looking to pay much for it. Also on the list is a power supply that is at least 300 watts.
A beast, this computer will not be.
But Doom 2 has low system requirements.
That doesn't make complete sense to me. It used to work with no issues. Hmm. Anyone aware of a program that will send the 2 channel situation to all 5 speakers?
Well, I've done some google-ing and I've had no luck finding a fix for this.
I've got a freshly formatted machine with SB Audigy SE and a Logitech 5.1 setup (it only uses analog). The Creative speaker setup program works and utilizes all the channels with the audio test... but nothing else...
I am certain that I have the correct drivers installed. Also, I have tried multiple headphones in each jack. This is really bizzare. It's not an issue of hardware damage either because I've reinstalled XP just to make sure and it works fine.
Very annoying. I just installed Vista and there's no sound. I've got the onboard AC97 situation, and I've downloaded the latest drivers from Realtek. All the updates have been installed. I've googled this as much as I can, and it was a drivers issue for most people. The curveball here is...
Finally snagged a monitor from someone to test the PC. It kept outputting an 80Hz refresh rate. Even after changing the settings to 60Hz and 1024x768, it would go back to 80Hz. Being that this was my dad's old work computer, a format was in order, so I did that, and now everything is great...
The plasma itself has no settings for refresh rate, and it's set to 'default monitor' in windows with an automatically detect for the refresh rate.
Once again, I don't see how that matters for any images pre-windows.
I'm getting a banner across the screen saying 'no sync signal'.
Very...
I did the F8 and blindly enabled VGA mode, which seems to work... but nothing else works. I tried different resolutions, and the only thing that seems to show an image is VGA mode and the XP load screen. Is this maybe an issue with the video card? I can't understand why it wouldn't show the...
