i had your problem too, its your audio codecs www.doom9.org and dl the gordian knot codec packs when i finally got my audio to work, it said "morgan stream switcher" under audio codecs whatever that is.

oc'ing 90nm a64 is do-able without much heat as for upsampling to that res, i can't even do that with a64 3000+ 6800gt without getting 100% cpu, but then again my 6800gt can't play 1080i video :(

ok so i tested it on another pc with a 6600gt pci-e and video worked 100%, but audio didn't work, i'm probably missing codecs for it or something simple. damm i need to trade in my vid card for something with hardware vid accel :(
