Whatever Happened to the Auto Section?

Title says it all. What Happened to the auto section?

I remember it used to be great to chat with all the other tech guys about what cool things they were doing. (Nice to get a tech-head's opinion instead of a gear-head sometimes)
 
Yeah, I found it.

That's kind of messed up that it's in a pay section. I don't mind paying, but it does something to the community.
 
Kyle decided he didn't want to host the car section anymore, and removed it. People like myself complained and suggested instead of killing it to move the section under genmay. Kyle agreed. The section is mostly dead anyway, but at least its still around somewhere.

Basically, pay the $14 or whatever it is. There are several threads in there that are worth the price individually.

FWIW, we run a tech forum here, not an auto forum.
