The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W Gold (RGB Sync Edition) claim to fame is that we can now have Frag Harder Disco Lights on, or rather inside of our PSU. While the RGB lighting is not much concern to us, we do however want to know if this Thoughpower stays inside ATX specification, and if so, does it shine brightly while doing it?

I have the same unit, (without the RGB sync?), for my sons computer, I was ok with the not stellar performance, for the price($100 Canadian!, second hand) and aesthetics thanks for the review !

I got this exact power supply about a year ago because I live in Japan and they don't have seasonic supplies distributed here at normal prices. Glad to see it got a pass, it was the best option at the price for me. The review pretty fairly reflects how I feel about it.
