Still trying to understand the logic for the Damage Potential + other fields in both the multitool and ships. I get ships have inherent bonuses based on type (fighters would get a higher boost for damage potential), but I have gotten a multitool with over 1k damage potential with 10 slots and it was Class C, then i saw a class A tool with only 300 damage potential. I think the A had Boltcaster installed (no mods) and the C had a Blaze Javelin (also no mods). No other weapons installed for either. Googling doesn't seem to be much help, as some say it is based on the primary weapons, but that does not seem to explain everything.Decent Multi Tool -
