If you use Merlin-WRT, you're fine, as he patched this vulnerability a long time ago.
Another reason you should use Merlin if you're using an Asus router.

I have recently been considering upgrading my router. At least there is a list of the ones affected. I have been looking for one that supports WiFi6 and has 8 ports.
