i will wait for the Zen 2+ 4000
Zen1 1000 series
Zen+ 2000 series improved zen 1
Zen2 3000 series
Zen 2+ 4000 improved series 3000 (not released)
Zen 3 will be another heavily modifyed or brand new architecture if enough has changed possibly 5nm
Instead of trolling im trying to help.
I never liked that naming as I use in my head ( generation) as it covers the Motherboard and Ryzen all at once . much easier to explain and match the right hardware together .
Gen 1 = 320 / 350 / 370 chipsets = Gen 1 Ryzen 1000 series
Gen 2 = 450 / 470 chipsets = Gen 2 Ryzen 2000 series
Gen 3 = 550 / 570 chipset = Gen 3 Ryzen 3000 series

why the 3700x is slower from ps5 and xbox x??
What? 3700X is faster than both of them. All Core boost 3.5GHz for PS5, All core boost for XBSX with SMT is 3.6GHz, it's ~4.0GHz All core boost for the 3700x.
They why part is about power budget.
