3600x 3700x , 3800x vs 9900K for gaming

so for my rtx 2080 for not to be GPU-limited at 1440p. do i need one 9900k or 3700x or 3600x??

you said that If you're runninf a 2700x, your RTX 2080- is almost certainly going to be GPU-limited at 1440p.

why the rtx 2080 to have bottle with the 2700x??

the 2700x is not powerfull for one rtx 2080??

I showed you the benchmarks comparing the 2700x to the 3700x to the 9900k running on a RTX 2080 Ti .

The game was somewhat GPU-limited at 1080p, and completey limited at 1440p., and your GPU is less powerful. if you can't do the math, that's on you/

now i have the 4770k which is very old..

i am playing asaseen origins and some another games and i have low frame rates with my 4770k././

the 4770k is very old for the newest games??

do you believe that my 4770k is very old for to handle with the rtx 2080 the newest games???

you didnt tell me something

this video is tested in 1440p?>?> for cpu speeds and gpu speeds??

You should have said this in your first fuckung poist, instead if us trying to figure oyt what the fuck you were asking.

Buy the 3700x/

Take it easy... He's obviously not a native English speaker. No need to unload f bombs on him.

i am from greece and i dont speak very good english

i ask my apologizes for my english..

With AMD discounting the 3600 .. I would buy that cpu and spend the savings on the motherboard or memory as between the price of a 3600 to 3700x it's a good bit and the 6 core keeps up with the 3900x .

This way if Gen 4 is a huge upgrade in gaming.. then it will not cost you as much to upgrade the cpu or you could buy a $85 1600 AF to hold you over .. very close to 2600 in performance is my take on Steve's video ,

this video

what kind of test they did in this video??

what is the gpu scaling??

do, you believe when the new consoles are released, the CPU requirements will start to get higher. ??

i am saying the 3700x , 3900x or when zen 3 comes will can handle the cpus from ps5 and xbox??

i dont understand something

in 1440p thereis not difference between 9900k 3600x 3900x in gaming

Intel Core i9-9900KS Review
The Core i9-9900KS is Intel's new consumer flagship processor. It runs at 5 GHz boost no matter how many cores are active, which translates into 10% application performance gained over the 9900K. Gaming performance is improved too, but pricing is high, especially compared to what AMD is offering.

for 5 and 6 fps is better the 9900ks in 1440p from 3900x and 3600x??

the PS5 CPU will be an AMD chip based on Ryzen. 8x cores; 7nm Zen 2.

so the cpu from ps5 will be like the 3700x??

so the ps5 will have cpu from zen 2 ???

i dont understand something

in 1440p thereis not difference between 9900k 3600x 3900x in gaming

At 1440p it's likely that many games are GPU limited, not CPU limited. Resolution typically has little effect on the frame rate that the CPU can produce. The GPU has to render those frames according to the resolution and graphics detail settings, and 1440p is harder to render than 1080p.

If for instance a 9900KS can produce, say, 140fps in some particular game and a 3600 can manage 130 fps, but the GPU can only render at 120fps because it's 1440p at ultra settings, the 9900KS is still faster but you can't see it because it's not the rate limiting part.

so in 1440p most you upgrade the gpu than the cpu corect??

i am saying when you play games in 1440p you dont upgrade the cpu very often as you do with the gpu every 2 years??

do you believe that the next generation of zen 3 will have better clock speeds and better overclocking.>??????

for how long do you believe that the 6 and 8 cores will last for gaming in 1440p??

why gamernexus and hardwareunboxed they have as recomendations the 3600x for gaming against 3700x and 3900x?? can you tell me the reasons ple/ase?

why they dont recomend for gaming the 3700x and 3900x ?? and they recomend only the 3600x?? for gaming?

why the benchmarks from gamernexus and are very different between them??>
what kind of bencmarks do the hardwareunboxed ?? and what kind of bencmarks do the gamernexus?? in cpus i mean.

which benchmarks are more reliable gamernexus or hardwareunboxed ??

Hey Tex, I'll give it a shot.

Hardware Unboxed (HU) is very reliable, as is Gamer Nexus (GN). The differences that they show is due to the testing methodology.

HU is showing that with 2070 Super at 1440p with modern games the main bottleneck will be the graphics card, around 5% in terms of difference at 1440p when comparing 3600 vs 9900. To see additional difference between CPU's you are looking at, you will require 2080TI from the current crop of graphic cards.

Next gen consoles will be based on an 8 core zen CPU, so lower core CPU's will eventually become too slow. However the earilest I expect this to be clearly visible for 6 core SMT CPU's is in three years. Thus if you buy a 3600 now, you have a few years ahead and at least two graphic card refresh cycles with close to max available FPS on CPU side at 1440p resolution. That is why HU is recommending 3600 as the sweet spot right now, combined with a very friendly price.

Lower tier (non-MSI) x570 motherboard is a good future proof buy, where you will be able to use next gen Zen processor upgrade, expected to be 10-15% faster still per core (with more core CPU's available), once you decide 3600 is not good enough anymore.

In summary I'll quote HU conclusion from their regular review site (Techspot), which I agree with:

"If you’re looking at spending less than $700 on a graphics card, buying a Core i9-9900K or Ryzen 9 3900X, purely for gaming isn’t a great investment, you’re far better off with something like the R5 3600. In fact, purely for gaming I wouldn’t recommend either the 9900K or 3900X unless you’re dumping $1,000 on an RTX 2080 Ti.

The Ryzen 5 3600 really is the go to processor right now. We’d even recommend skipping over the 3700X, purely for gaming, as high performance 8-core/16-thread processors won’t be fully leveraged in games any time soon and the $130 you save now, can go towards an upgrade when you actually need it, many years down the track"

you said that , so lower core CPU's will eventually become too slow. so the 3900x and 3700x will be faster from Next gen consoles will be based on an 8 core zen CPU, ??

i am saying the 3700x , 3900x or when zen 3 comes will can handle the cpus from ps5 and xbox??

or you believe that the cpus from ps5 and xbox will be more powerfull from 3600, 3700, and 3900x?? cpus?

Without a doubt lower core CPU's will eventually become too slow, but this is a few years out, if it is a concern buy a 3700X.

In my view new console CPU's will be slower than 3700X, as they have a limited power budget to work with.

if i, will buy the 3600x for how long will last ,me to play games in 1440p ?? 3 years ,is the maxinuM>??> FOR THE 3600X??

What is better to buy 3600x or 3700x which is 8 core??

also from these 2 which is better Hardware Unboxed (HU) or Gamer Nexus ?/

What is better to buy 3600x or 3700x which is 8 core?? or to wait for zen 3 which will release in some months>?? for futureproof??
