Wow thanks for the quick replies! The 34 is 100hz and the 27 is 144.. I guess i was curious if id see more constant frames. I do like to keep up to date with technology.
Thinking of going from a EVGA 1080 FTW to a Asus Strix 1080 TI oc. Will I notice the gains in gaming from going to the Strix.? Running dual monitors, 34" Asus ROG and 27" Asus Rog. I do play A LOT of new titles ( For Honor, Ghost Recon, GTA 5, WOW, etc.. ) Money isnt an issue, thinking I...
Thanks for the reply, I just got back from Blizzcon and they had 3 Swifts setup using a 1080 and it looked great, wasn't sure if the 980ti could handle it. I liked the way 3 monitors looked, dont know if it'd look as good just using 2.
Can a EVGA SC 980ti run games well with 2 ASUS swift 27" monitors? I already have one, and a friend of mine is selling another, would it be worth it, or should i wait to get a 10 series card first.? Thanks again, decided to edit to make it more simple.
Thanks for the reply, I was keeping an eyes on the temps, everything seemed to be running fine, I do have enough space underneath the radiator to place another intake fan just in case the inside gets too hot, but under load it's 43c, and the video card 70c under load at 144hz. It just seems...
I purchased the H110GT and H440 all at the same time, did the whole setup, and went to install in the typical location, top of the case etc.. I ran into the problem of the radiator not fitting up there. I was going by the installation guides, and seeing how most people have their setups in the...
Looking to sell my LG 34um67-p gaming monitor, which I purchased August 19, 2015 for $590. It works super well with AMD cards with Freesync ( AMD's version of Gsync ) and I upgraded to a 980Ti, downsized to a Asus Swift for G-sync.. I turned monitor off when it wasn't in use, still has plastic...
moderate to light gaming ( blizzard games, wow, wc 3, starcraft ) no major system hog, internet. I'm getting it for the fire dept, i'll need something to do in our down time so though i'd pick up a pretty nice little system.
I was looking around on the dell website, and the vostro 1000 comes with this processor, i'm usually all for intel, but i wanted to give AMD a try, what are the reviews on the processors, which to stay with and which not to.. Thanks for the help in the long run guys.
A good friend of mine is wanting to sell me this alienware m7700, any of you guys have reviews on it? He's wanting to let it go for $1320, so i dont know if it's a good deal, i mean it's a gaming computer, but i'd love to know what you guys think...?
I'm looking to spend around maybe 900 or so on it, with vista, something about 1gig totally, but most alright laptops i see have only 512 which sucks...
I got the dough to get a laptop finally, i'm at $500, but i can go higher. I'm a firefighter, and we have a ton of down time, and i dont wanna miss out on world of warcraft, and the internet. I'd like some advice on a laptop that will do the job for what i'm looking for... thanks a ton.
I wonder if they will come out with the AGP version of these? ha yeah im still stuck on agp and whatnot.
Where will these cards rank vs the x1950? I found a " turbo " version of the x1950,

some specs on it.
Powered by ATI...
alright man, thanks for the reply, the guy that posted the first review about the video card went into some big detail about how it wouldn't work on certain psus and whatnot.
I was in the process of getting this model of the x1950... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814161069
It's supposedly the " turbo " version of the card, it seems pretty nice, but i'm stuck cause i've seen 4 different versions of the card, i've been a long time Nvidia fan...
I just upgraded all my computer stuff maybe a year and a half ago, i like to try and get all of whats it's worth out of my system while it's running well.. I was in the process of getting the x1950, but now the XT model is out, looks like i'm gonna run with it.. HURRY :(
Ha, it figures i goto check out the x1950 and finally get some ideas about it, then out comes the topic of the x1950XT... /cry

awesome awesome, i've heard the argument that ATI runs some games better than Nvidia and whatnot, wasn't totally sure about all that. I have a antec neopower 480w PSU (ATX12V v2.0), would that run the card that well, or would i need to upgrade it as well?
Ive been reading a ton about this card and whatnot, well i'm a big Nvidia fan and whatnot... I would love to get a card for my system that is running aright along with the x1950. My system is AGP, and was wondering what would be my best bet that was Nvidia styled and based right with if not...
I've been looking hard and heavy at the xfx version, but then they mentioned about the x1950... I love waiting for a product to become in stock then buying it, then finding out you can get a better kind if you would have waited..
I have the nVidia 6800OC in my system, and i'm wanting to change out the heatsink and fan, the stock one broke on me, and it's too noisy. I'm a total noob when it comes to upgrade the cooling on my video card, any of you guys direct the way for me :)
