btw the issues with Crysis and Tomb raider you are experiencing are more likely to be GPU bound than CPU. I have 680s in SLI and an overclocked i7 and I still cant get a solid 60fps+ all the time in those two games at ultra settings

if you have a K series CPU you can get a stock volt overclock just by adjusting the multi

I found myself pretty impressed with the cinematic set pieces on MW3 especially since I hadn't gone in expecting it to be anything more than a cheesy snooze fest (stepson is mad about COD, been into battlefield sing 1942) I thought (story aside) that it was very cinematic and exciting visually.

DICE need to take.a leaf out of Treyarch's book on the single player mode, what I wouldn't have given for the divine multiplayer of BF3 to be matched with campaign mode as dramatic and cinematic as MW3. I know it's an old engine but it still impressed me, I just kept thinking how utterly...

SP campaign is really gripping, I love BF3 MP but SP sucks big time

Easy, use the ms utility to make your win7 dvd into a bootable pendrive (4gb plus) with your vista os drive. Put blank disk back in set bios to boot from usb. Install windows, let it pick up the driver online for your ide card, job's a goodun.

I got this board to play around with and want to use 4gb of DDR3, can I use modern DDR3 or do I have to use the older higher voltage type. DDR2 is twice the price these days

can anyone speak from personal experience with this board?

what are my options for a RAM upgrade, anyone else already done it and have modules that work? I take it 4gb modules require a new mobo

I wont be leaving x58 for a while yet so I dont have a problem with continued development. In fact Imin the market for a new board to take advantage of 4gb modules. 4.2ghz on my H50 will do me till the next gen
