I have a older monitor that only has DVI-D and VGA on it.
I got a DP to DVI adaptor from a friend but it does not send any signal to the monitor from my RX480.
I think the adaptor he gave me is DVI-I output but the monitor is DVI-D.
If I buy this passive DP to DVI cable will it work?

I just built a new system and am looking for some feedback on my temperatures and settings.
I would like to target 4.6ghz on my 6700k but am not sure what options in the BIOS to change.
Motherboard is Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1.

I am thinking of buying a laptop and the hump from $500 to $1000 seems to be looking likely and in that territory I get into nice ultra books or Dell XPS 15 and even into last year's MSI GS70.
I really like the GS70 and would prefer the larger screen but I have read about some quality...
What is the going price now for a FW900 in good condition?
