Right; yeah, they list C2Extreme, however, the only ones available when this was written were 1066 FSB. :/ Meh. Absolutely, I will NOT spend over $100 on this configuration. Not a chance in hell. Just looking to MAX the current rig and hope it lasts me a bit longer.

Thanks for your input. Considering your suggestion. My motherboard only supports a max 1066 FSB max. The chips you reccommend (q9300 or q9400, etc.) are 1333FSB. Bummer. If I could use a 1333FSB chip, I'd go QX9700 or above. ;)
