when you price match you have to use a best buy address/store thats near a micro center or maybe just a best buy with microcenter in the state. atleast i did. I told the chat rep a best buy that wasnt in a micro center state, she said she couldnt price match it because its the lowest price in...
why not it all comes from the same manufacturer.
its not like theres some rogue underground chinese lab replicating CPU's.
.
i got a 5700xt for 90$ from them and it works great.
well thats pretty dishonest since an rma is usually a refurbished card.
again all the people saying, " I had a good time RMA'ing pny " should really tell you to steer clear of the brand.
well i upgraded to 1440p and honeslty its just not that big of an improvement over 1080, we are talking less than 30% more pixels. vs 100% more at 4k. just not worth it to upgrade IMO, (if u care about motion clarity for fast paced games like FPS)
if you care about high hz gaming and motion clarity, we just aren't there yet IMO, i'd stick to 1080p gaming till prices come down in the next few years hopefully. OLEDs cost too much and even the 4090 struggles at 4k to get 100+ fps.
i splurged $1800 on a gaming setup and am pretty...
Check out northwest repair videos, search is channel for pny, he does quite a few repairs on them, when he tears down cards he explains why some have subpar cooling compared to others.. He likes to say "PNY, think before u buy"
Pny is garbageware. I mean the previous poster who said "I've RMA'ed pny a few times" should say enough.
and what a joke this card still costs $1600 a year after release.
OK well after a few hours of gameplay it isn't that bad, graphics were lowest setting by default for whatever reason, at ultra they about match bf3 gfx, which isn't saying much for a decade later. Theres less destruction than bf3 which is hugely disappointing (I guess they don't want to...
yeah i got through the tutorial then they started lecturing me on equality/gender rights etc and it really turned me off. graphics look worse than bf3 (2011) somehow.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1517290/Battlefield_2042/ and on sale for 10$
finally a decent free game trial
EDIT: nvm, I apologize to all who suffered even a few hours of this horrific bastardization of a great series due to my post.
evga going out of business which means their bios support team is too, GL getting this mobo to support future CPU's
I might bite at $150 considering this.
Looking for the best budget option gaming OLED monitor right now. looking at the c1 going for about $500-600 on ebay. Also looking at the Alienware AW3423DW at around $6-700. Any other ideas for an OLED budget gaming monitor?
staying away from the newer 27" 240hz due to their image quality.
there was a $270 ddr4/12600kf/asrock mobo combo on newegg a few weeks back. Seems like they are trying to clear old mobos and cpu's, id wait for BF combos, you might even see a $200 12600k combo
i dunno, got an elsa 5700xt on their back to school sale for 87$, still otw but many others receieved theirs. they are old mining cards but supposedly work well and benchmark close to a real 5700xt
this seems like an ok price, you can get them used on ebay for a bit more.
Maybe chinese...
Just giving people an idea of how the cards are priced if they are willing to wait for another deal. I assume it will be down to $850~ in the next few months. might see <800 black friday which is less than 3 months away!
13600k, which is 170w theres a few other amazon reviewws stating the same thing, it bounces from like 60-85C depending on game, seems like that kinda expansion/contraction will wear out a cpu fast.
the fans are also reportedly garbage.
ill try editing fan curve to see if that helps.
not pleased with my my 120SE (newer version which is basically a little less material), the temperature seems to bounce around too much while gaming, which i dont think is good for longevity. it seems pretty lightweight for its size, so i think it basically conducts heat very well into little...
Just picked up on dell outlet for $870 (780+ 90 shipping, tax)
only 90 days warranty tho, this should hold me over for high hz gaming till 4k 144hz+ becomes an affordable reality.
vanilla wow beginning of 2005. playing the starter zones as a dwarf hunter. just a feeling that has never been matched since, cant even describe it, pure magic, like video game crack basically. other people have said the same thing about their first mmo such as everquest.
earleir than that...
