Im looking to upgrade my old Haswell build (Rev1 M1) that used a Mini-DTX motherboard.
I would like to use something similar so that I still got access to a 1x16 and 1x1 Pci-E Slot.
It seems impossible to find such a size in a modern motherboard, anyone in here been able find one or even use...
Regarding the power limit mentioned in the last paragraph, would this also apply K SKU (10700K or 10850K) if using one of these Asrock H410M motherboards?
Or do you reckon that would work fine at stock speed and turbo boost?
Sorry quoting so far back, its just that I stumbled on these H410M-HDV...
Your shipping been very fast, just two days from Hong Kong to Sweden.
Only trouble is the local DHL depot who messed up delivery.
First attempt we found a note in the post box, no one even heard the door bell that day.
Gave them a call and was promised delivery next morning by 09:00.
No one...
Could the cost for those extra zippers be forwarded to the buyers or would that make the bags much more expensive? You would then have spare zippers for a potential second batch.
Or is it just a trick from them to try and have 1000 bags made?
Been wanting a bag since I got my Rev 1 but since im in no rush I thought I would wait until the que got shorter.
Am I correct the original price of this bag wasnt anywhere near todays asking price of $300?
On the other hand I understand that it might be very time consuming to put together...
Any idea if silver will be back, as a case option and perhaps as panel kit?
Thats my M1, and indeed its a ECS H81H3-M4 together with a X-Fi Titanium HD sound card, Manli GTX970 and a 4770K.
Im really enjoying my M1 version 1.0 and now a friend asked me to build him a system.
I thought I would suggest using a M1, is it still available to buy direct from stock or has that batch sold out by now?
There are hardly no other appliances at all.
At first I thought it was the freezer but ive moved that to a socked on a different circuit breaker.
Basicly its the computer, microserver, display, router and a desk lamp that is using that circuit breaker. Same circuit breaker also caters for a...
Since swapping my 450W SFX for this SFX-L im having occasional problems with fuses going out.
In two weeks time the fuse have gone out four times and im still trying to figure out why.
Usually it goes during the night when the computer is off but today it happend when flicking the button on...
Any news when this bag might be available to order again? Im v1 owner but been a bit slow with ordering and thought I would wait until the cue got shorter but it seems its not even possibly to place an order. Would really like one before summer holidays.
The NH-U9S is too high to mount a intake fan on the side bracket. Im running the previous version (SE2) with a reference design 970 (Manli) and a single noctua 120mm intake fan for my use its fine. Recently switched to the 500W SFX-L PSU so now its intake fan and dual 92mm cpu fans together with...
Fitted one to my Ncase and so far the fan has not even started. Im guessing its due to the side intake fan blowing Cold air towards the psu intake (or its busted). :) Keeping my fingers crossed it wont tick once it starts spinning.
Im no expert at all so I really couldnt give advice but I dont regret buying it, thats for sure.
There is a bit of contrast shift due to the monitors size, maybe such wide VA-panels would benefit with a curve?
AH-VA panel type is known for good black levels so I guess it shares that with the...
I took that route last week, replacing my 2405 with the BenQ 3200. I havent done a back to back comparison but I like how its scaling the same as my 2405 so that text wont get smaller.
Mine had some stuck pixels so im about to contact BenQ to see if they will replace it. But other than that...
Mine came from a Scandinavian retailer. (Dustin)
Ive tried Elite Dangerous and there is a BLB like effect from the edges and 3" inward.
If I move my head a bit sideways or turn the screen towards me it vanishes at that side.
I guess its because im viewing the pixels from such an angle...
Took delivery of mine today and its also made in November 14.
Not sure how to test for flicker though. Started up the Origin client and scrolled around but didnt notice anything.
I just had a quick look during lunch and mine seem to have three stubborn pixels.
Im not sure if they are...
Ive been using a 2405fpw for a very long time and if im not mistaken its a VA panel ie nice blacks. Im still sitting on the fence a bit worried about the light bleed of the 3415.
Got two partitions on my hard drive and wonder if its possible to increase the size of C without the need of a third party software?
Would this work or could it somehow mess things up?
1. Copy contents of D onto external drive.
2. Delete partition D from desktop computer.
3. Increase...
Been thinking about going from 1920x1200 TN-panel to 27" IPS but decided against it since it wasnt much of a upgrade screen estate wise.
Same with the lesser ultra wide options that would be a step down to 1080.
Now that I saw this thread im eagerly waiting to read reviews once the Dell and...
My memory played me a trick, I checked their reply once more and it actually said "end of January 2015". Sorry for not checking that prior to my first post. :o
"Thanks for your interest, the SX500-LG will be available in Germany at the end of January 2015."
Sorry, should doubled checked their answer prior to replying in this thread, seems like end of month. :o
I have my 450W SFX mounted with the intake inward and the fan is loud on load.
Took off the top panel and the air inside the case was quite warm even though I have a 120mm fan pointing towards the PSU. Will try mount the PSU intake the other way around, atleast the intake air should be a bit...
Maybe its already been mentioned in this thread but I got a reply from a Silverstone representative that German stores would have it up for sale sometime in january.
Finally got me a video card for my M1 v1 (hope its ok to post in this thread).
The outlet gets pretty hot, not shure if its normal or because some parts of it is blocked?
Maybe cutting away so metal would help but I guess that lessen the rigidity, plus its against my belief to use...
I guess the bracket for SFX-L is needed for m-itx motherboards but not m-dtx (or whatever its called) since the video card sits one slot lower?
Btw, im finally getting a video card, should i uninstall the intel hd drivers first and disable the internal "gpu" in BIOS prior to installing the...
Will recieve my GTX970 this week and just realized my Silverstone ST45SF-G doesnt have the 2x PCI-E cable, ie. the one that splices into two 6+2 connectors.
Ive got the tools to make my own cable with two 6pin plugs at one end by using the included cables but is this the recommended procedure...
Thanks for the suggestions regarding my GPU selection.
In the end I decided to base the decision on my current needs, at the time I get a higher resolution screen there might be other GPU options out there so I went with the Manli 970.
Turns out Casekings total was EUR 37 less than OCUK...
Trying to figure out if should go with a reference 980 or the OCUK/BestBuy 970.
I would like to have a pretty quiet system and im worried the extra load of a 980 could make PSU (ST-SF45G) noisy?
On the other hand I might upgrade my monitor and go from 1920x1200 -> 2560x1440,
would that...
My order with filters was posted by Demciflex late september but just recently reached the international hub in Johannesburg.
Anyone have a clue how long that postal strike was in South Africa? Perhaps im not the only one waiting for filters?
Still trying to figure out what blower style...
My NH-U9B SE2 have a 8mm clearance and is 15mm taller (125mm vs 110mm) than the NH-D9L (8+15=23mm). :( Maybe its time for a NCASE side bracket video...will it bend style? ;)
Im using the ECS H81H3-M4 motherboard in my M1 and would really appreciate if someone could be so kind to explain whats involved in getting the CPU_FAN to alter RPM according to temperature? (if its possible?)
My CPU cooler is a NH-9UB SE2 and so far ive been using the included resistors to...
Sorry if im a bit off-topic with a video card question.
Been waiting for the Maxwell cards for my M1 and thought a 970 would do but im not so sure on the blower types offered, hence im leaning towards a 980 reference card.
Are all reference design 980 made by nVidia so that the only thing...
