i can tell you the the 1st gen i7s are space heaters when overclocked, a h100 with a push pull fan config will probably give you the most headroom for overclocking
I have 12gb (6x2gb) of xms3 corsair 1600MHz ram. when they are all connected to the board the computer will attempt to post once, MemOK LED stays lit and then hangs there and restarts. same thing happens again, Hangs at MemOK LED, and restarts, no display either.
third time around the computer...
I have a black Xbox 360 Elite flashed with the newest LT 3.0 firmware, loads backups fine, no RROD or anything. has a BenQ drive which is really quiet. no issues with the console at all.
it is BANNED from XBOX LIVE however. I purchased it like this some time ago and just used it to play...
a decent SSD coupled with anywhere from 6-8GBs of ram is way more than enough for gaming..,, sorry, i just fail to see how 32GB or 64GB would benefit you
I would have to personally choose in no order, ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI. maybe even throw in ASrock in there too. i had the 775 dualVSTA board and it was great. i am strongly against EVGA boards after using the 650/680i and x58.
