I have a Hyper 212 EVO in mine. It barely fits, had to work a little to get the cover on and closed. When closed you can see the cover dented/bent at the area. Hasn't caused any damage to motherboard or anything else though.
In the mid section there are 3 fans for intake. Nothing on the top or bottom.
I'm not using a rack either, I have laying on a plywood shelf I made that is about 6" off the ground. Been running fine for over a year and a half now.
Would you mind going into your process a little more?
What do you suggest to do to check drives to make sure everything is good?
I don't know too much about the subject of testing drives, thought SMART would be enough paired with looking for physical damage.
Just to add to this. I bought 10 drives 2 days ago. All came without any physical damage and passed all SMART tests.
Didn't expect any less though...not sure why people expect to get DOA drives so "often".
I don't think I've ever gotten a drive DOA.
Received 10 drives (2 shipments of 5 each) today from Newegg in this new packaging. Had 4 boxes with 2 drives each and 2 boxes with 1 each. Drives were packaged tightly with no movement whatsoever. Haven't had a chance to test the drives yet, but hopefully no DOA.
I'm selling a combo motherboard, cpu, ram, heatsink combo. The system was upgraded so I have no use for this anymore. I'm looking for SOLD for lower 48 states. Price is negotiable and I'm open to offers. I am not looking to part out.
Payment: Chase QuickPay, Amazon Payments, PayPal
Heatware...
If you're interested I have a combo I just took out of my computer few days ago.
Board: LGA 1366 EVGA x58 SLI
CPU: i7 920
Ram: 12GB G.Skill
Also comes with aftermarket Heatsink and Coolermaster fan
Now heres the problem, the motherboard does have 1 bad PCI and 1 bad PCIe slot that where...
It depends on your cabling. You don't have to remove the whole bay, since it comes with the clips to attach your harddrive and then you can slide into the bay. If you have lots of cables that you can't move, then you'll probably have to take the bay out.
I have that Rosewill case.
It's a beast for airflow, stays very cool. I have not had any issues with the drive cages being loose. I am very happy with my case and would recommend it for that price. If you have any other questions let me know.
Thanks, I'll check this out. Seems to be the general consensus. I thought it was a freak accident. Never heard of HDMI causing problems like this before.
Hey guys, I was hoping I could get some help with this problem.
I recently built a PC for a buddy of mine and everything was working fine, until today.
The PC in question has a GTX 260 SSC, and when he used a DVI->HDMI adapter to connect it to the TV it blew out the TV and the graphics card...
Unfortunately this is the truth for many, but for me I did the jailbreak for two reasons.
1. To get the ability to have time stamps for all my messages. How this is not an option is beyond me.
2. Get tethering on my phone. I already pay for data, why should I pay extra to use it the way I want to.
Funny you say that. I use it for the exact opposite. For some reason I have much smoother video playback with Chrome.
It's also hard for me to switch permanently, I'm so used to Firefox and have it setup "my way".
Redundant if you don't use some of the features that just don't work with the Email App or that don't work well. To me, this includes:
-Viewing and starring emails
-Forcing a refresh of emails that are forwarded to main
-Email search
-Changing sending email address
Another thing that might be killing the battery is what I think is an email bug.
I have gmail set to push, but sometimes (randomly) it won't be able to download the emails even though there is a perfect connection (3g and wifi). So the phone keeps trying to download emails for hours on end...
Like other have said, not surprising. If I need to buy something Amazon is the first place I check. Not only do they usually have what I need, but the price is usually lower than elsewhere. Can't beat free two day shipping and great customer support either. *thumbsup*
