UK Online Pornography Age Block Triggers Privacy Fears

America and Canada Ground All Boeing 737 MAX Planes

I understand the reason for the new system (new characteristics because of new engines), but they should make turning off that system REALLY easy and apparent when the pilots can easily tell the plane is heading straight for the ground. Why are there no redundant sensors for that critical...

"No Survivors": Second New Boeing 737 to Crash in Four Months

Automation is exactly probably why this and the other 737 Max crashed. A faulty sensor confuses the automation or makes it think everything is alright. Meanwhile, a human can just look out and see what's what. I'm going to guess it's the same issue as the other 737 Max accident; but this...

    The End of Blu-ray

I think Blu-ray will be around for a long time. There will always be a market for physical media. Not everyone has broadband internet. Internet service or services on the internet don't have 100% up-time. Don't get me started on the horrible compression quality of streaming services.

Activision Blizzard Layoffs May Cause Key Talent to Leave

You need to know your own worth and never stop keeping an eye on the job market. For the vast majority of publicly owned companies, they won't bat an eye firing you to make some arbitrary quota.

Man Who Made Hoax Call In Deadly Swatting Seeks 20-Year Term

I agree. I also think "no-knock" warrants should be illegal. Who wouldn't get their gun and start shooting when people are trying to break into their houses in the middle of the night.

Steven Spielberg Is Gunning to Make Sure Netflix Never Has Another Oscars Contender

The Biggest Problem with Triple-A, Open-World Games: "They're Boring as Hell"

Studios saw the open-world design as a way to save money... just like "shoot & loot" online games like destiny and anthem... Just make a cookie cutter sand-box and hope players are entertained.
