Because I do not want to buy a better power supply, I am looking for a good price-performing low power video card that will not require an external power connection. It will be for an emachines or some such pre-built system. I will be running 1366 x 768 screen res. I am looking to run most...

I've been waiting for the right deal on the HD 4850 X2 2GB. Amazon.com has it for $319 with free SuperSaver shipping. No rebates...no taxes also, which makes it even a better deal than the one NewEgg ran over the weekend...
Just thought I'd post this...seems like a decent deal. Free shipping, also.

I'm very pleased with the Core 216 I just got from Buy.com for about $250 AR and 5% off with $5 two-day shipping. About as fast a GTX 280 for 100-150 dollars less.
Not bad for a budget rig....not bad at all.... ;)
No tax to NY/NJ/TN (where NewEgg charges tax). 11-dollar FedEx 2-day shipping. Super-fast rebate processing. Darn good deal. :D

No taxes for those of us in NY/NJ/TN (where NewEgg would charge tax)...Asus rebates take forever, though. Still....quite a nice deal.

Saw this and though it was interesting. Not sure how much better Nehalem is over Wolfdale or Conroe for real-world gaming.

I recently purchased two Zotac 8800 GTXs from FXvideocards.com. The fan on one of the cards doesn't work, so I have been working with Mike from fxvideocards.com and Kelly from ZotacUSA.com to come-up with a solution.
I had originally asked for just a replacement fan... I didn't want to...
Who knows if this can really be verified? I dunno.....but if it's true...
Pretty sweet.

I have a P6N-SLI FI mobo
9600 GT SLI on XP
2 x 2 GB of g-skill memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231145
XP usually sees 3 GB of the four, which I was fine with. Now it only sees 2GB.
System info shows all four gigs, but I know it can't...
Nice price...I figured I'd throw this out there for those wanting to SLI on the cheap.
The price is Canadian dollars. Actually it's a little cheaper if you use USA checkout, but you'd have to pay by paypal.

I don't need one...but this deal sure looks good if you're planning an SLI build soon.

1 TB of hard drive space...Blu-ray / HD hybrid burner....quad-core Phenom...tv tuner w/remote
It's a refurb, but still. I think that's a pretty sweet price for all that stuff.
Take your pick....very nice price. :)
No taxes....9 dollar two-day shipping.

Hi. I recently replaced the fan in my Corsair VX550 because the fan speed was winding up and down under load. I know this perfectly normal (albeit annoying), as I have 8800 GTs in SLI and the peak load for the whole system is probably well over 450w.
I also know I voided the warranty.
