Hello,
I finally have the components for my new build, the only exception being the PSU. I was really hoping to use my old one but I'm a bit worried it might not have enough juice. I've also linked a new one that I'm considering. All help is appreciated.

Hello,
My wife has been wanting to upgrade to a curved monitor for a while so I think I may surprise her with one.
I’ve looked at several different monitors but the options and features are a bit overwhelming. I’m hoping someone can answer a few questions for me and perhaps make some...
Still haven’t made a decision between the Ventus and Armor. There’s shockingly little information on the differences on Google...
Aside from size, what are the differences?
Assuming the Armor runs cooler? What about the power connectors? Armor has an extra one but that’s only for OC? I don’t...
Hello,
I’m currently running this build. The plan is to upgrade to a RTX 2070. Below are the 2 options I’m considering.

Both cards recommend a 550W PSU, which is exactly what I have but I’m afraid...

Thanks for the advice - maybe I'll use my current PSU after all.
What do you mean 6c/12t? If I could find a 1700 for $230 I'd jump all over that.
I was able to grab a 1060 for $368 on newegg yesterday before they sold out.
Hello,
After a couple of weeks of going back and forth, I decided to build instead of buying prebuilt. I really like the idea of knowing exactly what I'm getting and also getting highly rated parts. Below is a link for what I currently have. I really wanted to get a 1070 but it was putting me...
Hello,
I've made a habit of building a new PC every 2-3 years to keep up with modern games. I recently starting browsing for parts and holy cow are they expensive? I was completely oblivious to whole bitcoin thing.
Anyhow, from what I'm reading it's way cheaper to buy a prebuilt system at the...
Hello,
I recently moved into a new house and I'm looking to ditch the clunky desktop tower (built about 3 years ago) in favor of a laptop. The plan is to upgrade to a laptop that will perform as well (or better) using the monitor I currently have (1920x1080).
I've been out of the hardware...
Sorry for the delayed response. I am subscribed to the thread but didn't receive a notification for some reason.
Anyhow, I am located in the US (TN) and I still have the monitor.
Thanks
Just upgraded to an LG 27" and looking to sell my old Acer V223W.
It works great and the exterior is in good condition. Only one dead pixel to my knowledge. The only time I've ever noticed it is on a plain white screen. I will include power cord and VGA cable.
Asking $40 plus shipping. My...
Why even post if you have nothing productive to add?
I actually solved the issue by simply plugging in an AVI cable to the extra port on my monitor. By doing this, Surround was able to work because, in theory, I have 3 monitors. In reality, the card is outputting to 3 different signals, 2 of...
It does have have a windowed mode and you can maximize it to go across all the screens. The problem, however, is that it stretches the game instead of actually increasing the view area, thus distorting it severely.
By extended mode I assume you mean "extend these displays" in the windows default display settings? It is not possible this way. You can't drag the UI elements outside the game area or onto the desktop.
If you mean something else, then I am not sure.
Definitely not blind in either eye...
I want to do it because I have an in-game addon that will essentially black-out the side screen which would allow me to drag my UI elements to a blank canvas, thus freeing up my playing area. See the screenshot at the bottom for an example.
Also, I...
Hello,
I was hoping someone could answer a couple of questions about Eyefnity. I am currently using Nvidia but will switch to ATI in a heartbeat if I can accomplish what I want to do. Basically, I want to play an MMO (Wildstar) across 2 monitors. Nvidia's Surround does not allow me to do...
