Does anyone have an opinion on the MSI Creation for a 5950x / 3090 combo? I game, but need more USB ports for a ton of peripherals I have ( speakers, DAC's, VR, etc, etc )
ROG Formula looks darn close but has a stupid 2.5gbe nic on it... I don't get why all these AMD boards don't have 10g like...
Hey folks... question.
I've spent the past few hours looking at things and to be honest.. I'm lost. CL this and that, timings, etc. My brain moved on from the last time I did this and haven't paid attention since then.
I'm building a 10900k/Formula 12 system because I'm not having luck...
Just for fun.. maybe ya'll will know. I have the 3821's running at 144hz in windows for now (will probably set them at 120 for 10bit color in the future).. but my Asus PG348 is running at 50hz - don't really care, but is this a limit of the HDMI port on the card? I can't get it to run any...
Mine came in this past Saturday... set them up yesterday and today. Is there a calculator for FOV and how to properly measure these things to keep the curve between 2 displays? I feel like they are either too curved or too flat for my eye.
Still a WIP.
edit: before questions.. dual 3821's...
Going to attempt to replace my dual Titan X's... What's the real difference between the reference and all the MSI/etc cards?

I hate to be that dude.. but for the many times that I've been here and the 2 times we have talked... I've NEVER bought any of the storage drives you've posted.
Until now. Bought 20 of the 12TB Seatage's. $227.99 each.
I feel like I owe you a beer.
Looks like it's easy to get from a few vendors here in the US.
I'm interested in your thoughts on this.
I don't do DPI scaling and generally feel that I can see 4k just fine. I have a Lenovo X1 with the OLED screen on it and I don't do DPI scaling.
I think going from 1600 to 1440 is going...
The 34WK95U's are $1600 each.
I don't have a specific budget in mind - just looking at my options to replace these old U3011's.
I've only partly considered triple 4k's - the aesthetics of an ultra-wide are appealing.
Hello folks - it's game time.
I'm currently running 3 U3011's (wide) on my desktop and I'm looking to upgrade.
2x 34WK95U's stacked seems to be my current preference as I'm using this for productivity almost exclusively. I'm interested in the resolution more than anything else. Side by side...
Hey SamirD - Maybe you can help - I'm legit looking for 8-10-12, 14tb, 16tb or whatever good price per TB drives makes the most sense.
I've been holding out for the best buy $200 deal to come around on the 14's to shuck. Plan is to build a freenas box to replace my 2 8 bay QNAP's.

I completely agree, and it's more complex than what I want to imply for fear of swaying one answer over another. I'm intentionally being vague to see what results I can get from others.

Alright - discussion at work has come up with a "what is better".

Item Condition: Glass is flawless, zoom and focus rings rotate smoothly. Cosmetically, there's a couple very small nicks around where the hood screws on from normal use otherwise excellent condition. I lost the box as we recently moved. Includes what counts. Only things to...
ROFL thesmokingman - yeah.. I know my cards are old... it's always been "good enough" as most of my games have had lower requirements for me to get what I needed out of them when running full resolution. When I play my FPS's I always run on a single screen because of the frame rate. It's just...
I have triple U3011's... 95% of my gaming is driving sims with the occasional FPS (Bioshock, Borderlands, etc) I haven't been able to run all 3 displays in a FPS in awhile... frame rate is just too low to be really functional.
Proc is a [email protected], 32gb ram.
Seeing how old my 6950's are...
So... I expect to get laughed at by some of you... that's ok. I'm looking for realistic expectations before I drop $1200.
I currently have dual 6950's that run 7680x1600 on my triple 30 setup.
My primary games are F1 and Assetto Corsa.
I'm having to run F1 2016 all the way down at this point...
