i think wickedangel and metallica band are having an anti-valve circle jerk tonight, you should join them.
wrong. VAC2 is coming soon. i wont even read the rest of your baseless and unintelligent post. not worth my time
it gave me a good feeling when i checked ve3d and saw the name 'wicked' dotted along the web page in each news post. not to dog on the other ve3d guys, but when i knew billy was handling the news, it was simply a treat to read! sometimes i would even skip the news posts if i didn't see that he...
gaming rig - windows xp pro
teamspeak/apache/ftp/samba server - debian
router computer - FreeBSD(m0n0wall)
i really dig the apt-get function in debian. not familiar with many other distros at this point in time, but its very nice
are you using the onboard LAN? I had this EXACT problem with my dads onboard NIC port on his abit nf7-s, it turned out to be faulty. plugged in a $10 NIC, and everything worked well. i know you'd prefer not to spend money, but if you know someone that can let you borrow another NIC(or a cable)...
they should just add a set of 'wants' meters ala Sims for each soldier to make it more interesting. :p
i really like act of war's features but 1 commander can't take advantage of all of it effectively. thus my idea of allowing 2 people to control one team. argh!
very true. and a can of soup is more than enough to satisfy someones hunger. but that doesn't mean that tender juicy steaks and pepperoni pizzas don't exist.
try rome: total war for a recent game that portrays ancient rome and others. or medeival: total war, for medeival times.
the history channel uses rome total war to portray past battles.
is there any RTS that lets you have 2 players control one side?
the big turn-off for RTS games to me is the fact that no one person controlling a side can ever be as effective as 2 controlling a side when you factor in money-making, defense, offense and expansion involved in a game. its...
do you mean emulating the human eye like 20/20 vision and less or more?(i may be off base here) that would be interesting. ive thought itd be cool for developers to pay attention to this more. like maybe if you choose a grunt soldier class, his vision won't be quite as sharp as a sniper class.
that doesn't really say much and is not a good example. this kind of vibrancy can be reproduced pretty faithfully on both cards, given the right software. although openexr hdr is nice and provides a noticeable difference sometimes, it doesn't provide many instances of IQ where a similar scene...
yea really. bump map actually made sense to me. its nice when these names make sense so an average gamer can get a general idea without having to read a long explanation. but normal map?
he wasn't arguing against you, lol. your example was weak to try and convey your point because your example used a great gun vs a great gun, instead of a substantially weaker gun vs a great gun.
ive been using Antivir(free edition), and its been doing a good job as far as i can tell. its caught a few things, and there are a lot of options you can choose on how to handle it. very low overhead too.
the detail in the city and the lighting is great. the physics are also nice and seem finely tuned, but just not really impressive because its just becoming more common
