My son and I are playing this. He plays on his PC for a bit and then I start it on mine since we share a steam account. We are having a lot of fun with it and I love that I finally have a system that I can put everything on ultra settings and still have it run incredibly smooth.
Has anyone put in a memory card and had an issue with printing afterwards? I put in a 512gb card and when I send something to print, it says "downloading" and does nothing. I turn off the machine and remove the card and it works again. I have it formatted correctly so I don't understand what is...
I will give your suggestions a shot. I am even having trouble getting the Bambu Labs filament to stick now and I did wash off the plate in the sink, but maybe I didn't do a good enough job. I will try again.
Edit:
Turns out I am an idiot. I thought that I had the cool plate and figured it was...
I have cleaned the build plate using isopropyl alcohol and I have it to a test and level each time. The glue worked last night for what I was printing, but this morning when I went to do the other half, it failed each time even after cleaning and applying glue. The filament is just not sticking...
Just upgraded from the Creality Ender 3 v2 to the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon w/AMS and I have been enjoying it. I am still figuring out what speed settings work the best since I have had 4 failed prints in a row because of how fast it was going. I am printing this...
It appears I am getting closer because this is not the first time that I have seen it crash from this error
Edit: I ran sfc /scannow from the command prompt and it came back saying that it found corrupted files and that it successfully repaired them. I had this laptop running for hours...
I changed the fast start option but I have no idea if that will really change anything. As for the troubleshooting, nothing came up when going through it. Could it be the SSD or the ram going bad? The SSD is a 1tb NVMe that I got from Microcenter a few months ago.
I have dumped and redone this laptop a few times now and I am constantly getting a Kernel Panic 41. The latest was 20 minutes ago and it says:
Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.
Any ideas on how to...
From the help I got, mainly needed to be tuned. Since then, I have done some very minor leveling to the bed although I still get a little bit of spacing on the initial layer as you can see here when you zoom on and look at the left side compared to the middle. It's not affecting the print, but...
I took a series of screen shots of all the settings. I will put them all up in the morning. The biggest one was changing the base to brim (I think) and having the initial layer at 0.28 and having it go slow, plate temp of 65° C and 220° C for the extruder.
Has anyone here with the Ender 3 had success with using the USB port on the front when connecting to a computer? No matter what I have tried, the software can never find it
And finished. The settings that were changed obviously worked and I will see if I can set it as some sort of default. It is a simple stand for my Galaxy Watch.
Got with someone who does a lot of printing and we changed a bunch of settings. We made the bed run hotter at 65°C, nozzle at 220°C, initial layer at 0.28. he also said to use a raft. I had to take the kids to karate but this was the print shortly before I left.
I will see what it is like...
Since it's a glass bed that is nearly a 1/4" thick, could it be that the bed is not warm enough? I was reading that running it at 65°C for the bed helps with warping. I changed it so that it prints a larger initial layer and will see how that prints tomorrow
Here is a print I am trying. Look at the corners coming off. This happens a lot as well.
I have the nozzle set to 200 and the bed to 60 and it still does this. If I touch it, I know it will pop right off.
I have the Ender-3 V2 printer and as far as I can tell I have a level bed, however when I get about 20 minutes into a print, if I am lucky to get that far, whatever I am printing will no longer stick to the bed and start to move. I am using the inland PLA filament and the box tells me to have a...
I am getting a vpn and firewall for home and the one item I am confused on is the IP from my isp. I have been told that I need to get a static IP for my home in order to have it all work properly. Is this something that I have to do?

So 2 weeks ago I had to exchange out my Ender Pro 3 because it started making a large buzzing sound and would give an error message saying to reset. I went through everything I could to do just that and couldn't get anything to work.
Got the replacement and finally got around to...
Tried all that with no luck. I took it to microcenter earlier tonight and they exchanged it with no questions. I will set it up again tomorrow and I will also go thru this video to double check everything I am doing.
I may have to exchange the printer because I turned it on when I got home and it gave me an error that said "homing failed" and to reset it. I have gone thru all the connections and nothing works
the filament type is Inland PLA 1.75mm 3d printing filament, White. I just checked the side label and it said that printing temp needs to be 215-230. I had the nozzle at 200, which was the default, so I bumped it to 222. I will see if that makes a difference. The bed temp is 60. I am running...
I did another paper one and had it where the paper barely moved out. Preheated everything and then ran a test. As you can see, it's not sticking and one side is off the bed.
The slicer program I am using is the one that came with the printer, the Creality Slicer.
How much resistance would I want using the paper method? I raised up the table again since it was too low again and ran another print. When it started, it wouldn't stick to the surface. I have no idea...
I am new to all this so I will answer the best I can.
The material is the standard PLA.
I don't know what you mean by STL
I was using the default settings in the software and ok the system.
I will get a picture tomorrow for you.
I did see a video on the paper test and did that on the conners...
I just purchased this today and put it all together. I went thru a few things on how to level the bed but I am running into another issue with it.
I did a test print of a ring and set the quality to low so it wouldn't take that long. When it starts printing though, it goes to the middle and...
When I tried it before I did have the video card in it. I will try tonight without it and see if it lets me in. I don't see why having a video card in it would prevent me from getting into Drac. As for the video card, its an AMD 5600 XT. The video card that was originally called out for it was...
I would be adding in a video card to the system. The system has 2 main fans in it, one in front and one at the rear. The rear one is inside of a cover that goes over the CPUs since those have passive heatsinks on them instead of active ones with a fan. As for the PSU's in the system, it has 2...
I have a dual xeon poweredge T440 that mainly runs plex on it and file backup for the house. I want to add a video card to it and use it as a CAD workstation as well. The problem I am having is that when I add in a video card, the system fans immediately go to 100% operation and I can't get them...
Got the usb tether to work and it found the wifi card. Downloaded something but when I pull up a driver list, it shows the hardware and say there is no driver
