We began evaluating Hyper-V 2012 recently and we are a vmware shop. While there are some nice features i would like in vmware like virtual HBAs managing hyper-v just seems a little too disjointed and not straight forward. Like I hate that you can only do some things in the hyper-v manager vs VMM.

The draft STIG is for 5.0 instead of 5.1 and is pretty useless since it's just a copy of the hardening guide with a few tweaks that make no sense. I would check out the hardening guide but use some common sense as some of the recommendations will cripple your environment.

You need to run "esxcli software vib update" instead of "esxcli software vib install". Install removes all the HP OEM drivers like for the local raid controller in this case and doesn't replace them with anything.

So say I have 2 sites and want to use multisite mode so that each site can remain functional if one goes down and want to use them in linked mode. How does the "logical" SSO get into the picture? Is that something that gets created automagically?
