I'm confused. He wants to monitor around 6 machines, if I open ports on the firewall I'd have to specify which machine I want the forwarded ports to go to?
Those are both good suggestions but having to open up all the ports in our firewall to allow him to remotely view these machines is a little rough. I was hoping for something a little simplier.
So my boss today decides he want to now monitor most of the machines in the office, he wants the ability to "spy" and see what's going on at any given moment on someone's desktop. I swore I would never do this but now I have no choice. Can anyone recommend any software that can do this? Most of...
Hello,
I'm looking for a pretty good headset, I prefer USB because the line-in jack on my PowerBook no longer works. Currently I'm using some cheap Plantronics and they work ok but they're flimsy and the sound quality is pretty crappy.
I mostly play World of Warcraft and sit on...
So one of the appraisers in the office complains that he hates the mouse that he is using (an old 3 button no scroll wheel mouse). Being such a nice guy I go out to our "graveyard" of parts and find him a standard 2 button + wheel mouse, in the process I stubmble upon a Microsoft IntelliMouse...

I am hella dumb. I figured out a better way to do what I need AND it works:
import flash.external.ExternalInterface;
for (i in this) {

this[i].onRelease = function() {
var countyName:String = this._name.slice(0...
Ok, I am going nuts....
I have this flash file that's a map of counties in Alabama, I've made each county a Button symbol and gave each instance a name like [countyname]_btn, for example baldwin_btn. I am trying to set the onRelease event to call a function that takes the name of a county and...
Actually, there was a seperate user account on the system so I logged in there and was able to delete the "broken" account, re-create it and that seemed to fix the problem.
Sorry for not checking Google first, I am a little burnt out on Google not turning up good results for my searches...
Hey guys,
this is bugging the crap out of me, I've searched the registry and changed any possible value that would not allow a user to change the desktop background but it's still not working. Even opening a picture in paint/picture viewer and hitting "Set as Desktop Background" it does...
Well most of the projects I would like to help out are C based. What'a good book on C? This? How about Programming in C (3rd Edition)? Absolute Beginner's Guide to C (2nd Edition) seems ancient but it has good reviews?
If you guys don't recommend any books, are there any good tutorials out...
