    GTX 980ti, GTA V and 3440x1440 LG 34UC97-S

With higher resolutions like 1440p and 4k, you don't need AA as much, just see it as a replacement for higher AA.

The failure that is the Fury X...how can people trust AMD?

I was just poking fun, the i7 5820k is only $300 at Microcenter, which is a great price compared to other i7 processors (and in general). The only AMD processor with similar multithreaded performance is the AMD FX-9590 at $220, but Intel has the edge in wattage, and depending on the benchmark...

The failure that is the Fury X...how can people trust AMD?

I got a i7-5930k for $240, glad to know I should of got a $40 AMD processor instead.

The failure that is the Fury X...how can people trust AMD?

Give it 3+ years for most games to be DX12. Unreal Engine 4 has been publicly released for over a year, and there's only been 2 or 3 notable games released with it, and there's still a ton of UE3 games in development, including Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Batman: Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat...

Nvidia Game Don't Works Latest Victim. Batman Arkham Knight

That doesn't fix the game's performance, every report I've seen says it runs like with even with every GameWorks feature off. It's an Unreal Engine 3 game, the consoles have higher graphics settings, and a better framerate. It's capped at 30 FPS by default, There's no way a PC should be running...

And the publisher, who typically manage more of the business and shipping end (and who don't give out early PC press copies).

Nvidia Game Don't Works Latest Victim. Batman Arkham Knight

Why does everything have to be AMD vs Nvidia? The developer/publisher released a shitty PC game without any review copies prior to release. They should be the target of anyone's anger. All Nvidia wants to do with Gameworks is to show off their GPUs in certain titles with cool effects/features...

How much do I need to spend for a tiny HTPC w/ Game Cube emulation?

I have a q9450 build, but I'm selling it, couldn't find an ITX board to put it in for a HTPC build.

How much do I need to spend for a tiny HTPC w/ Game Cube emulation?

Looking to do a budget HTPC to use for emulation as well, want something small and clean enough that I can just leave it sitting on the TV stand. This was my first mockup, but it's about $100 more than I wanted to spend, where you you start cutting corners? PCPartPicker part list / Price...

Why do cards still have DVI ports?

Gotta use an Nvidia card, I use CUDA daily. I will probably get the best $300-ish GPU I can get if it starts becoming rare, otherwise I'll have to hope there's a good coverter for other cables to dual link DVI, but from what I've seen, there's very little dual link DVI options for anything.

Why do cards still have DVI ports?

Too bad my Korean panel needs dual link DVI, I'll be stuck using it for a while. Hopefully GPU manufactures keep it for a little while, I need a GPU upgrade.

AMD reveals its CPU & GPU roadmap for next five years

I do like the idea of mid-high end gaming APUs, I'd rather put in a tower heatsink, also you could make some tiny motherboards if you don't need any PCI-E slot for the GPU.

AMD reveals its CPU & GPU roadmap for next five years

Well a GTX 970 is 164 watts, i7-4790K is 88 watts, so 252 watts, I'd like to see them put that much performance in one chip.

3DMark API Overhead Feature Test - Early DX12 Performance

Yes, games/game engines will still need to be properly optimized for 6 cores, developers might continue to only optimize for 4.

3DMark API Overhead Feature Test - Early DX12 Performance

It's worth noting comparing GPUs from different manufactures and using different architectures using this test doesn't indicate better performance in actual games. This test is only useful for comparing APIs, CPUs, and GPUs using the same chip.
