Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will take a look at that adapter, but maybe I'll wait and see what intel is coming up with on the 9260. I too saw something from intel but as you said, couldn't find much on it.
I got a really good one. There was a tiny amount of bleed (I mean TINY) in the upper left corner. However I pressed on the plastc shell a little bit and it went away. It's an AWESOME monitor!
I was originally going to go the hackintosh route and build my PC with an Apple Card BCM94360CD which is 3x3 AC for 1300mbps and bluetooth compared to my Asus Z170i's 2x2 867mpbs. I do a lot of transfers to and from my NAS and would like good local wifi lan speeds. I ordered the mini...
The stock card is only max 867Mbps. If you add a 3x3 mimo you can get 1300Mbps if you have a supporting routing (which I do Netgear R7000). I do a lot of transfers to and from my NAS so the faster the better. I also was thinking of going hackintosh route, so I ended up with the Broadcom...
I just put the PC together and I'm not a big PC modder. I'll have to research the different stress test applications. However I will be REMOVING the rear case fan as my upgraded wifi card will not fit with that fan.
Here is my almost finished build (I'm replacing the wifi card and hoping someone will swap me for silver panels). I tried my best with the cable management but this is the best I could do with the included power cables:
Specs:
Case: NCase M1
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core...
I'll post here again as the marketplace requires 100 post to make a sales thread, but if anyone is up for an even trade for my black panels with ODD for your silver ODD, send me a PM. Please ignore the finger prints, I was rushing last night to get the machine built in order to get the free win...
Well I was able to "patch" my win 7 installer from this video:
Then install the USB stick into a 2.0 port and I was able to install on my SATA drive. Got 7 installed and now I'm downloading the windows 10 upgrade. It's taking forever as I guess there are a lot of last minute upgrades. Once...
I caved and went home and got the sata power cable, I got a sata drive installed and windows won't see that drive either. However when I search for drivers, I can see the SATA drive.
I only have the M.2 drive installed in this pc. I put it together last night but the seller who I bought the case from (and the DVD drive) didn't include the mini sata adapter, so I brought the PC into work with me as I have a USB DVD drive. I have a spare 2.5 drive, but I left the power supply...
I'm in the process of slipping all of the drivers from the motherboard DVD onto the windows ISO and will burn them to a DVD and see if that works.
Sadly I have no other PC with an M.2 slot so I hope this works.
I can't install Windows 10 as I don't have a license. I want to use the free upgrade.
I'm downloading microsoft AIK to try and load the drivers. Thanks.
