Are PG279Q Monitors still a gamble?

This is how I'm feeling right now after checking out on Amazon for my PG279Q:

However it's now July 2016, is the back light bleed still an issues? If I end with with a bad monitor, is it best to return to amazon or go through ASUS for an RMA? This thing is heavy and I don't want to pay tons of money in shipping by keep returning the monitor. Thanks!
 
Based on tons of information overload lurking and reading: Yes, it's still panel roulette.

I'd just do it through the likes of Amazon.
 
I got a really good one. There was a tiny amount of bleed (I mean TINY) in the upper left corner. However I pressed on the plastc shell a little bit and it went away. It's an AWESOME monitor!
 
Hello I really need an advice . Here you will find a picture of my new monitor. Do you think I must refound it and gamble another one or stay with it.
