I have this same exact problem as described, I tried enabling "Disable display scaling on high DPI systems" but it didn't help. According to FRAPS it's a constant 60fps but the game is stuttering every few seconds. It's very jarring, it doesn't feel like a performance horsepower thing but more...
I'm using a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H and I installed the Intel USB 3.0 driver from the website of the motherboard. The USB 3.0 ports on the back of the board work fine, it's just the front panel ports that are a problem.
Hmm, I didn't solve my problem after all. Has anyone had trouble with the front USB 3.0 ports? With mine it will either complain that the 3.0 device can operate faster on a different port or it will say the drive needs formatting before it can be used. Then sometimes it just won't show up in...
Oops had a front panel USB 3.0 problem but it turned out to probably be a driver issue. Apparently the front panel is a USB hub and not just some ports. Got it working by using a different header on my mobo.
My only problem with 650D was a slightly bent layer of metal in the front where a rivet didn't go through it's hole. It doesn't interfere with anything and is completely out of sight so I decided it's no big deal. Been very pleased with the case and now that I've upgraded to a modern day...
I discovered that product a couple weeks ago, but the reports of it setting itself on fire in the Amazon reviews scared me off so I just bought another can of air.
What do you guys do to clean the dust filters? Easiest might be to air can them but I was wondering if just washing them in the sink makes sense, would save on compressed air and probably be more thorough.
I'm planning to use MX-2 because it's $3 cheaper than AS5 and in researching it I found that it performs very well and even better than AS5. Grabbing some from Canada Computers for $5.
My retailer of choice is Canada Computers and they're selling the 3570k for $300! Picked it up from NCIX for $239. Best price available in Canada that I'm aware of, could be worse. The retailer pays $212 I think, so I figure $239 isn't all that bad. $190 would have been great!
I'm in Toronto too, hate to pay the shipping but NCIX seems to be the best deal and I put in an order about 2 hours ago. Shipping was not bad at $7.49, I added a CPU cooler to my order that costs $1 more at Canada Computers so I saved an extra buck there as well. Hopefully we get them by the...
I haven't thought about that, I was under the impression that people with extreme temps were applying too much voltage or just trying to push it too hard, seems IB should be kept at 4.6GHz max unless you have some fancy cooling setup. I'm not comfortable messing with voltage and I don't plan to...
