Alright let me do a timeline:No offense but something doesn’t add up. You said you RMA’d on November 1st and a new unit was being sent you. And then two days later you said you had it back and the vendor said it wasn’t a defective unit and they sent original back. Why don’t you start an RMA with ASUS? There is no way this isn’t a faulty unit, if those videos are accurate.
- Suspected a faulty device and informed my vendor + ASUS
- ASUS told me that, according to my videos and description of the problem: It's a faulty unit and I have to return it to the vendor (that's how it works in my country)
- I told my vendor (ASUS Certified something) that ASUS told me that the device was defective
- Vendor accepted the RMA (and promised me a new device if they can confirm the problem) and I sent it back
- They checked the device, said there is nothing wrong with it, and sent my device back
- I informed ASUS of the vendors decision and I'm now awaiting final feedback
