Just picked up a Zotac 1070 to replace the 290 that died a few weeks back. This particular model doesnt show up on their website but looks to be a Founders Edition PCB with last years 980TI heatsink and Tri-fan setup, plus the vrms have a heatsink. It does lack a back plate but for the price I paid its was a deal. Hopefully this cooling solution with help with pushing a steady overclock. The pics of the card online show a 6+6pins power setup but this card came with a 8pin which either way shouldnt matter since both setups would provide same power.

I'll be installing it tonight and run some testing.

I took a few with my phone I'll upload them. Just got done uninstalling old AMD drivers and installing the 1070 with latest drivers........ got lucky had the Samsung memory!!

Little overclocking with Afterburner in Heaven card seems stable @ 1731mhz with a 1933mhz boost on core and 2350mhz on memory.
GPU is hitting on avg. 2050-2088mhz peaking at 2135mhz. Power is limited to 112% in Afterburner, and is avg. 105-108% in benching Temps are maxing at 55c with 69% fan speed after 20min loop.

Might look into doing Power Limit mod to push card for more consistent clock of 2100+

Will get pics as soon as I can upload them.

That is a very good score and close to the stock 1080!

Looped Heaven maxed out at 1440p with full overclock for hour no issues at all.

Some Heaven benching at those clocks

After putting card through its paces (ran Heaven loop 45mins no issues) This looks to be the max overclock

Temps are stable at 55-56c but card throttles power if I go any higher. Core is steady at 2050-2088mhz with peaks at 2135mhz. Card still has more to give if it wasnt power limited.
Will try 1070 FE Power Limit Mod to unlock power target when I get time to see if it will push the card to steady 2100+ speeds.
The thing that suprised me most was the memory. Rock stable at 9688. I pushed it up to 9760 but was getting texture tearing here and there.
