WTB used parts [CPU/RAM/MOBO]

I'm looking to build a computer for the television for playing hulu, and 720p/1080i/1080p video files. Nothing else, just an HTPC I guess.

So looking for something relatively cheap, not sure how low I can go spec-wise before videos start lagging/skipping frames.

At least 2 GB of RAM <- This would be great.
Mobo <- doesn't matter, but one preferably with VGA already in it.
CPU <- dual core I'm guessing.

i have a zotac dtx mobo, phenom X4 9550, and 2gb corsair xms2 that i can sell for $125 shipped. it has onboard video and a dvi port, and i think it runs 1080 pretty well but id have to check first. if not, i have a 3850 that i can include for $150 shipped total and that definitely does 1080 and even some light gaming. i dont know the model of the mobo, as its not printed anywhere on it that i can find, but it has never given me a problem in over a year of use. it has one pcie slot and 2 pci slots.

ekuest, could you test 1080p mkv for me and confirm if it's able to handle a 1080p mkv in VLC? Also, please take a picture of the motherboard and tell me its form factor.
