WTB: NB Cooler for DFI Lanparty Ultra-D (S939)

Hey everyone,

I have an old DFI Lanparty nF4 Ultra-D which I am in the process of re-capping and reviving which has a bad NB fan.

Does anyone have a cooler which would fit in that spot for sale?

I think the Evercool VC-RE was the go-to replacement way back when. Also heard the Thermalright HR-05 can work.

One thing you have to keep in mind; a lot of the northbridge coolers would block using the SLi and the first PCIe port. There are some that are offset just for this reason.

Some of the Thermalright's were offset and would work great.

But wow, $31 is a lot for what it is and does. LOL

That was one bad drawback with the LanParty series of motherboards. The northbridge fans were a poor design.

I've got 3 of them boards, and everyone has a bad northbridge fan.

Only running one GPU so I'm not overly concerned with the PCIe port location, but 31$ is a little steep for this retro revival -_-
