Looking to buy a reasonable little GPU from anyone whos recently upgraded. Any of the 1650 or 1660 series cards will do. Prefer a Ti, as I am regretting not keeping an EVGA 1660Ti XC Ultra I bought on B stock for $224 in March.

It's going into a 450w system so sadly I cant look at RX 570s or 580s.

Please DM me with price shipped to Zip Code 15237. Payment via paypal as usual, unless you prefer another method. Thanks for looking!

I'm confused by your statement:

While it's true that the 1650/1660/1660Ti cards use less power than the RX 580, neither should consume enough power to cause a 450W PSU to buckle.

Consulting two reviews here and here, the worst case total system power consumption of an under-load RX580 was around ~340W when tested with a lightly OC'd i7-7820X CPU. Comparatively, the RX480 consumes ~30W less than the RX580 because it's just a lower clocked variant of the RX580. Either should still fit within the power budget of a 450W PSU unless there is significant load coming from the other components.

Unless I'm missing something, that still makes them competitive given the extremely low cost of a used RX480/580 compared to an equivalent performing GPU like the 1650 Super or 1660.

I've been looking at the same GPUs for a budget build. The nvidia cards are over twice as much as an RX580 on ebay for what? 10% average increase in fps? Back in January 2020 there were tons of 4GB RX580s on ebay for $100 shipped. I know because I bought a couple. I assumed by now a 1660 would be well under $200. Nope.

I've bought some RX480 (or 580, can't remember) 4GB cards for like $80 on these forums. I bought one in person for $60. They're dirt cheap.

It’s wild out there.

I had a brand new 1660ti ultra for $224 and returned it bc I ended up keeping my 2070. Now I’m just trying to drop the simplest gpu I can into a prebuilt work P.C. with a relatively low quality PSU.

cant really trust any card with >150w TDP on this system or I’d be all over those Radeons.

If you're not really gaming on it, throw in a 2GB 750ti. Those are old enough to be shielded from these rona price shenanigans and they don't need extra power.

and I just missed a 1660ti on Reddit for $165. So bump!

I intend to play some casual destiny 2 on it, so something at a GTX 970 or better level is about the minimum.

Bump for you.

Grabbed a 3060 ti this morning. Just need my friend to get me his 1080 then play some musical chairs with PC parts and i'll have that 1650S for sale.

Congrats on the 3060ti sir, thats good work on your behalf. and thank you for the bump.
