WTB cheap video card for kid system

Looking to upgrade a kid's system, currently runs a 970. I want something for maybe $100ish that might offer a meaningful upgrade.

Not sure what things are going for these days... Maybe a 1660ti on the lower end, or 1070, 1080, etc. eBay is a cesspool now so I'd rather find something here if possible.

I have a 1070Ti I can let go
 
Pm sent on the 1070ti. Not sure an RX580 would be worth the hassle but I could be mistaken about their performance levels.
