AMD Duron Socket A (100MHz FSB) 800 MHz or 850 MHz will be fine, with a heatsink.
or
AMD Socket A Athlon (100/133MHz FSB) 1.4GHz would be nice, with a heatsink.

Also possibly looking into buying:
20 GB HD for $20-30
DVD-Rom for $10-15

Too fast hahaha, I'm building an old computer to use as a server and htpc. It definately won't be able to run any of that stuff.

I do have an old Athlon 1.1 GHz...no clue if it is working or not...

$25 shipped and its yours (w/ heatsink)

I've got a Razotech Transformer ATX case - new & unused for $10 plus shipping.
PM me if interested.

Crap, just realized my motherboard is an A-Bit KT7-Raid not a A-Bit KT7A-Raid.

For KT7/KT7-Raid:
  • Supports AMD Duron 600MHz ~ 850MHz or future Socket A processors based on 200MHz (100MHz Double Data Rate)
  • Supports AMD Athlon 700MHz ~ 1.2GHz or future Socket A processors based on 200MHz (100MHz Double Data Rate)
