Probably not, but hard to say since there is no context as to what you're doing.
It's about a 5% improvement on average across the board. More or less depending upon what your doing. I think I'd look at an SSD or adding a discrete graphics card depending on the rest of your rig for the biggest bang for your buck.

Before we get off on a tangent, what is your motherboard? exactly? because if you can trade off to an 8320/50 etc... you would get some oomph out of it.
Those are AM3+ chips. He is on an FM2+ motherboard with that processor.
