I'm very happy with what I have now, but I want faster. The app(s) I use are not numa aware so, it's technically single numa node limited, but I must have 2 numa nodes anyways. I have seen load as high as 70% with normal background tasks, and it's great to be able to game while my other app(s) run.

ThreadRipper3 wins.

Existing chips are going into my Dell T630 (ESX server / NAS / many many VMs). Chip from the T630 going into my rig and given to my brother. I got these chips on ebay for a steal, bit over $600 each.

I have already started the build, going to have to swap out the top rad to a thinner one as another part won't fit with this one.
Sucks because I loved the easy access fill port at the top that I'm going to loose with the EK rad replacement. 45mm to 27mm :(

Evga hybrid AIO is using the rear fan spot. Two rads dedicated to CPU (280x27 + 240x45).
Wonder how long I'll have to wait for the 32core part, at least by then, many reviews should be out.

EK rad arrives Thursday, I'll post an update by next weekend (and prob the last till TR3 comes out).

Last update till TR3 comes out, Amazon shipment came much sooner than expected.

Hope memory fits back behind

Did you have your dual setup in that Air 540?

My old Dual Xeon was in my Air 540, it was a tight fit.
